Did You Know...

... that Paraclete XP takes control of the Indoor Cloud League Open Class sequences?

Indoor Cloud League March event at Paraclete XP
posted Apr 2nd, 2018 - Even the additional 14 points that PB Wave brought to the March table for the Hurricane Factory on the 14+ leaderboard did not help to fend off Paraclete XP's very strong 2018 approach to the Indoor Cloud League competition.

The response from North Carolina to the March submissions of the Czech 4-way teams came promptly a day later on the 1st of April. The two Indoor Cloud League powerhouses have their March numbers on the 14+ leaderboard and keep pushing each other towards higher scoring levels.

In fact, the 31-pointer that Paraclete XP posted for the AAA Class sequence in March ties the highest score in this category in the history of all Indoor Cloud League events, including 12+ and 14+ sequences both. Only HF Bad Boys had posted another 31-pointer once for a faster sequence (Q,9,F,16) in October 2017.

Paraclete XP's AAA Class lineup actually finished with 32 points in working time and lost one point at the end of the second page due to an incomplete finish of Block 6 (Stardian - Stardian). HF Bad Boys could neither keep up with the Paraclete XP pace for the AAA Class sequence nor in the AA Class.

Paraclete XP's AAA and AA Class lineup in March
It is unlikely that any other Indoor Cloud League team will be able to get even close to the AAA and AA Class highscores in March.

Paraclete XP recruited a lineup of three world champions and a member of the U.S. national team in 4-way Women, Lauren Byrd of Phoenix XP, to take control of the two Open Class sequences (AAA - AA).

There are currently not many other 4-way teams and competitors in the world who might be able to match or even better the 31- and 27-point scores.

It would probably take the Belgian 4-way world champions of NMP PCH HayaBusa, Arizona Airspeed, SDC Rhythm XP, the two French national 4-way teams or the Qatar Tigers to outscore the Paraclete XP lineup for the same two sequences.

Lauren Byrd, Jen Davidson, Kirk Verner and Drew Starr joined forces to take on the double slot-switcher in AAA and the slower AA Class sequence. This lineup combination had not performed an Indoor Cloud League sequence for Paraclete XP before, even though all members are very well trained in their own environments.

Jennifer Davidson and Drew Starr are team mates in the Golden Knights 8-way lineup and also train and compete together in 4-way, together with Matt Davidson and Sean Sweeney. The same lineup recently posted a 27.2 average for the 3rd place at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2018.

4-way and 8-way legend Kirk Verner knows everything about indoor and outdoor competition, and he was ready to boost the Paraclete AAA/AA Class performance this time. He had posted Indoor Cloud League scores previously only with his player-coaching team Fast4ward, who he had also competed with at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship.

Lauren Byrd's team Phoenix XP will compete for the U.S. delegation in Australia this year and has a set of medals in sight. Phoenix XP caught up with the Canadian national team in 4-way Women, Parachute Montreal Fuzion, in February and is now carefully evaluating the performance of the French team in the same category, Aerodyne Weembi Girls.

Her team mate Amanda Lampton guided once again the ICL teams at iFLY Dallas through the March sequences, and the NSL News will follow up with scores and videos soon.
