Did You Know...

... that iFLY Sacramento is aiming at the top spot on the Indoor Cloud League 12+ leaderboard?

iFLY Sacramento's ICL team in June
posted Jul 3rd, 2017 - The Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Sacramento came together again on June 15th at the monthly NCSL Tunnel Kicker of the Northern California Skydiving League. Seven teams competed in all six categories; however, as usual in Sacramento the main internal competition took place in the Rookie Class categories.

NCSL coaches Matt Stephens, Lori Connor, Jason Russell and Steven Walker posted the 17-pointers for both the AAA and AA sequences. John Verley, Lisa L Larkin, Ron Ashcraft and Monty Stephens added 22 points in the A Class for Sacramento.

Organizer Lori Connor had five Rookie Class teams at the event, and two of them performed the RRR sequence. The modified lineup of the Goldi-Docks and a Bear, with player coach Lori Connor, posted the highscore with 27 points.

It was the first 25+ score submitted in the RRR Class by Goldi-Docks, who have one more opportunity to score 25 or higher before being disqualified and having to move up into A Class.

Three teams competed internally for iFLY Sacramento's R/RR scores. Brian Fairhurst joined Reed Lawson with player coaches Lori Connor and Matt Stephens and scored 25 points for the RR sequence. Brian Fairhurst is a seasoned skydiver with thousands of skydives, while the NCSL Tunnel Kicker in June was the first time that he competed for the Sacramento team.

Virgi Fallsalot and Keith Clayton, with player coaches Jason Russell and Steven Walker, posted the highscore in the R Class with 18 points. Only two points divided the three R Class teams, with the other two teams each scoring 16 and 17 respectively.

The Sacramento team was able to add 126 points to the 2017 Indoor Cloud League account. Lori Connor is not sure yet if it will be enough to take the 2-point lead away from iFLY SFBay who is the current leader on the 12+ leaderboard:

"We'll have to wait and see once all of the scores have been submitted and tallied by the National Skydiving League."
