Did You Know...

... that three new teams have joined the Indoor Cloud League so far this year?

Back together: Valerie, Yannick and Richard Bisson
posted Apr 4th, 2017 - Several new March scores and videos have been added to the Indoor Cloud League leaderboards, including the first ones in four of the six 12+ categories from iFLY Gold Coast in Australia.

SkyVenture Montreal's ICL team posted scores once again on both leaderboards. 4Astrophe had Parachute Montreal Fuzion member Valerie Bisson back in the family lineup, after her March visit to Florida for the Shamrock Showdown 2017.

Her younger brother Yannick competed for 4Astrophe and also for the Air Devils, the reigning FAI 4-way Junior world cup champions of 2016. 4Astrophe posted the scores for both AAA Class sequences and for the AA Class sequence on the 12+ leaderboard. The Air Devils took care of the AA Class sequence in 14+ and both A Class sequences.

4Astrophe and Air Devils together claimed or tied all highscores for these six sequences. A third Canadian lineup performed two of the three Rookie Class sequences (RR - R) and only the missing number for the R Class sequence probably kept SkyVenture Montreal from taking the top spot on possibly both leaderboards.

NCSL team at iFLY SF Bay
iFLY SF Bay is currently on the top of the 12+ leaderboard, while scores and videos are still coming in for the month of March.

NCSL's Indoor Cloud League organizer at iFLY SF Bay, Maria Garcia-Sheets, said that the March Tunnel Kickers were busy events, bringing together regular attendees, fliers who had not participated for a time, and new faces ready to learn more about 4-way:

"Over the course of three Kickers, SF Bay fliers worked to improve their knowledge and skill level. For the month, Coaches focused on helping participants improve grip technique, while participants worked to develop better grip discipline. Together, the information offered and new awareness helped fliers post progressively higher scores with each Kicker event."

Four of the scores for the March sequences were generated at the third event, while each of the earlier events provided one highscore for the month.

New in 2017: iFLY Gold Coast in Australia
Both leaderboards feature new participating ICL teams. The Sun Path Products NSL News introduced the Flybox Israel team with the story on 27 March 2017, and iFLY Gold Coast joined the 12+ competition with the first scores and videos in March, as well.

The third new ICL team this year came from Paraclete XP, and the information from Raeford will be added very soon.

The new ICL teams are still growing and developing their participation, and several categories don't have numbers yet. The established ICL teams still maintain their top positions with scores for all six categories. However, the new teams will probably catch up soon and quickly, and the ICL leaderboards will show even more numbers month by month.
