Did You Know...

... that the Fun Flag adventure could not distract Savolo too much?

No distraction: Savolo and friends...
posted Sep 16th, 2016 - The happy ending of a world meet disregards the scores and placings and includes the Fun Flag.

The Sun Path Products NSL News was not able to give the Fun Flag much attention during the very busy four days of the competition. However, this does not mean that there were no Fun Flag activities. In fact, the Fun Flag changed ownership several times at Skydive Chicago.

The Sun Path Products NSL News was at least able to catch enough of this event's adventure story for a new update. This time, it was the South African national team in 4-way Open that was seriously involved with the Fun Flag and provided detailed information with photos and the story behind them. The new NSL Talk video presents the team after the completiton of the 10-round meet.

Savolo was also involved in the exciting battle for the last Top 10 spot on the Open Class leaderboard. Final Fire from Austria and Ex3mo

from Italy were the direct opponents, and it was a very intense competition, where the three teams exchanged blows round by round.

Ex3mo could not keep up in the fastest round of the meet and fell too far behind to finish in 9th or 10th place. It came down to a 1-point finale in the last two rounds between Savolo and Final Fire, which ended to the advantage of the South Africans.

The SKYLEAGUE.COM power rankings expected the same three teams to compete for the same positions, even though the results and placings at the Mondial 2016 turned out to be reversed. Savolo came out as the winner and took the 9th place, while Final Fire took the last slot in the Top 10. The Fun Flag adventure obviously did not distract Savolo too much...
