Did You Know...

... that Sunday morning training at the Mondial 2016 is in full swing?

Long manifest line on Sunday morning
posted Sep 11th, 2016 - It is time to get excited, as the Mondial 2016 will generate the next international leaderboard, and the best teams in the world will start with Round 1 on Monday morning.

There is still another leaderboard in the works before the first world meet scores will be posted, as three NSL leagues (Midwest, Northwest, Southern California) had their September meets scheduled for this weekend. However, the Sun Path Products NSL News office is set up at Skydive Chicago for the live coverage, and the first NSL Reality TV clip has been uploaded.

It was recorded on Sunday morning at the event site and captured an unusual situation. There was a very long line in front of the manifest, where most of the teams tried to get a slot for the last training jumps before the opening ceremony and the start of the competition.

Background information: Brian "BK" Krause
Coaches and team managers spent up to an hour or even longer in the line before they could get their teams on a load. There was a reason for this extraordinary situation, and the Sun Path Products NSL News was fortunate enough to find somebody who had the background information.

Brian "BK" Krause, Golden Knights 8-way world champion of 2012, who is coaching the Canadian 8-way team at the Mondial 2016, explained that the problem came with the transition of the Style and Canopy Formation events from the previous location to Skydive Chicago.

The event site for these two Mondial disciplines was located approx. 15 miles away and could not handle the heavy rain on Saturday morning. The Style competitors received first priority on Sunday morning for their missed training jumps before it was time for the Formation Skydiving teams. Everything was back to smooth operation a few hours later.
