Did You Know...

... that the French national teams deliver outstanding performances in Bedford?

French FLY-IN Girls with world champion team mate Perrine Sanchez
posted Apr 1st, 2016 - The first half of the World Challenge 2016 is complete, and the AAA Class field is as strong as it was expected.

However, there are still even more outstanding and extraordinary performances in this world class field that catch the special attention of the audience. On top of this list are the French FLY-IN Girls, who are once again stepping up their performance level in Bedford.

They indicated with their move from the 4-way Women leaderboard to the Open Class that they are measuring their own performance not only with the female lineups and the Golden Knights. They feel and know that they can keep up with all 4-way teams in the world, and they proved it in a spectacular way in Round 5 when they tied NMP PCH Hayabusa's highscore for the round.

French Girls at the World Meet 2014 in Prostejov
The French FLY-IN Girls were aiming at the same goal at the Shamrock Showdown 2016 where they tried to match one of Arizona Airspeed's highscores for a round. It did not work out like that in DeLand, and they set new goals. Would it really be possible to tie one of the Belgian scores?

It is unlikely that anybody would have predicted that any team in Bedford would be able to get even close to Hayabusa, especially without Arizona Airspeed competing. The French

FLY-IN Girls proved everybody wrong who did not believe they could do what they did in Round 5.

It is not only the French national team in 4-way Women who present outstanding performances. France is also back with a world class 4-way Open Class team. French Girls Sophia Pecout and Christine Malnis are still slightly ahead of their world champion team mate Laurence Herve. However, the very young lineup is very energetic and ready to continue neck to neck with the other FLY-IN team. It’s not over yet though, both teams have to master five more rounds to maintain their top spots behind Hayabusa...
