Did You Know...

... that the judges had No Mercy for Poland's national team in Teuge?

AA Class in Bedford: No Mercy at the World Challenge 2015
posted Oct 15th, 2015 - The 1st FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships in Prague is actually better attended in 4-way Women than the same category at the FAI World Cup 2015, which is not the case in 4-way Open.

Only four female 4-way teams traveled to Teuge in the Netherlands, while nine teams have signed up for the indoor competition, which begins next week.

Two of the four teams who attended the world cup will also be at the Hurricane Factory.

The French Girls will be facing the Golden Knights, and No Mercy from Poland has an opportunity to post better scores compared to the leaderboard of the world cup.

Standard exit formation at the FAI World Cup
Better scores are usually guaranteed at an indoor competition, as the teams don't have to master the exit and the sub-terminal part of the freefall and working time.

The video recording of each performance is also guaranteed by the host, and the teams don't have to bring their own videographer.

The competition videos of No Mercy in Teuge were the major obstacle for the team from Poland on the way to a better meet average. Most of the jumps were not completely visible for the judges, and the extreme example is Round 7 where No Mercy did not have any scoring formation.

No Mercy lost a total of 28 points, most of them caused by the video angle.

Not a happy experience: No Mercy meeting in Teuge
Poland's national team in 4-way Women might even have been involved in the battle for silver and bronze medals between Infra Red Band (Russia) and Bellatrix (Australia) with cleaner score sheets. Rounds without penalties saw No Mercy very close to the medal winners in this category.

No Mercy was still competing in the AA Class at the World Challenge 2015. Coach Flemming Borup Andersen, former Voluntas member in Denmark, helped the team to get ready for the AAA Class competition half a year later, which included a standard formation for each exit in Teuge.

Without the video challenges and quicker ways to build the first formation, No Mercy will surely post a significantly better meet average in Prague. The team will need an encouraging result for redemption at the upcoming event. The world cup experience was not the happiest one in the team history...
