... that the Heartbeat Skydive Team cashed in on the ISR Stimulation Prize?

Tomscat Trophy 2015 prizes
posted Oct 13th, 2015 - The Sun Path Products NSL News introduced on July 12th the Dutch Rookie Class team Heartbeat, who had won the "ISR Stimulation Prize" at the Tomscat Trophy this year.

The Heartbeat Skydive Team eventually cashed in the prize, 30 minutes of free flying time at Indoor Skydive Roosendaal, including free Thunder ISR coaching, in October.

It was a big event for the Dutch Rookie Class team, as it also launched its move into the A Class competition with the indoor training camp in October.

The Heartbeat members made their first skydive between 2010 and 2013 and have known only the Rookie Class dive pool so far.

Thunder ISR members Sven Ibens and Jacco van Eerden joined the Heartbeat members in Roosendaal to introduce the eight blocks of the A Class dive pool.

Heartbeat/Thunder training group in Roosendaal
The Thunder/Heartbeat training group spent 45 minutes in the flying chamber with 2-on-2 combinations.

Thunder Tail Jacco van Eerden prepared the Heartbeat members with information of the new block techniques once the team had arrived in Roosendaal.

Flying time followed after the ground work, and the lineups performed each training sequence three times - smoothly and correctly, as the Thunder coaches requested for performance standards.

The training format had Heartbeat's point and inside center fly with the Thunder coaches, followed by the tail/outside center combination.

The third time was for the complete Heartbeat lineup, while the coaches were observing and evaluating the team performance from outside of the flying chamber.

The team members said that it was a great format to feel the right way how to perform the blocks: "Oh my god, these coaches are the best..."

Debriefing with Jacco van Eerden took place in a restaurant next door with a few well deserved beers and videos of the indoor training. Heartbeat is now excited about the upcoming A Class season:

"We have received numerous tips and points, which we can absolutely make work! We are looking forward to the upcoming training and will certainly ask Thunder again to guide our training!! A Class - here we come!!!"
