Did You Know...

... that the 4-way duelists were in the same planes this morning?

Viewing of the live judging of Round 9
posted Sep 11th, 2015 - Friday morning welcomes the teams and competitors at the FAI World Cup 2015 once again with blue skies. Nothing is in the way for the semifinals and finals on the last day of the competition. Most likely, the event will be concluded a day earlier than scheduled.

The Sun Path Products NSL News brought the drama of the race for the slots in the final round to the attention of the audience yesterday. Final Fire from Austria and Barguzin from Russia have their own duel for the 6th place in the World Cup rankings in Round 9, while AtomiX YUU from Germany and Ex3mo from Italy battle it out for the last slot in the finals of the European Championships.

The new videos feature the two duels round by round since the beginning of the competition.

Ex3mo at the World Meet 2014
Final Fire took a 3-point lead over Barguzin into Round 9, while AtomiX YUU was one single point ahead of Ex3mo. The jump order this morning brought the teams together in two pairs. AtomiX YUU and Ex3mo took off together, the other duelists followed in the next load.

Final Fire have been together as a team for several years and plan to compete for Austria at the Mondial 2016. Barguzin was formed this year and attended an indoor competition in Russia in March. Former 8-way world champions Sergey Shenin and Vladimir Pavlenko, also 4-way bronze medalists of 2010 with Barkli, are Barguzin's player coaches.

Ex3mo is a lineup with highly experienced 4-way and 8-way competitors, including Marco Arrigo, who competed with the same lineup at the World Meet 2014 in Prostejov. AtomiX YUU is a young team attending an FAI World Cup for the first time. The live judging will be an exciting event, coming soon...
