NSL News Coverage of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024

Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features videos of the top teams in Round 4?

SDC Rhythm XP: New team record average?
posted Apr 3rd, 2015 - The first day of the World Challenge 2015 has been completed successfully. The scores for the first five rounds are posted, and the leaderboard is showing the numbers of exciting competition in all categories.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa has created more distance to all other AAA Class teams than it might have been expected. There seems to be only one team that could offer serious opposition to the Belgian 4-way world champions with the new lineup, and Arizona Airspeed is only watching the event from the distance.

SDC Rhythm XP will most likely improve the team record average once again, and the first 2nd place finish at the team's 5th appearance at the World Challenge is very much in reach. It could be Rhythm's next step to cut the distance to the reigning US 4-way champions.

Thunder ISR: Peak performance?
However, there is still another half of the meet with five more rounds waiting for Rhythm, and the competition is extremely tight for the 2nd and 3rd place. Four other world class lineups are in the race for medals and prize money at Bodyflight Bedford.

One of them is Thunder ISR, who are probably on peak performance level. Other observers confirmed that Thunder might have had the best five rounds in the team career. The NSL-TV camera was recording when Thunder entered the flying chamber to finish off Round 4, and the videos of the other top teams are also a part of the new video clip.

French pickup team Weembie Lille scored 25 points in Round 4, enough to tie them with Hayabusa for the highscore. Weembie Lille became the second team, within the first five sequences, to manage such a tie with the Belgians. SDC Rhythm XP had done the same in Round 2. Hayabusa's Round 5 includes several 540-degree turns for Block 3 by Point Dennis Praet. Nobody in the world can move or turn quicker than he does - take a look...
