Did You Know...

... that new NSL-TV videos include SDC Rhythm XP's first two outdoor rounds?

First outdoor meet for SDC Rhythm XP
posted Jul 1st, 2009 - Meet videos from the Midwest Skydiving League's season opener on June 20 have arrived at the NSL News office and have been uploaded.

The videos of Round 1 feature all seven MWSL teams that competed that weekend at Skydive Chicago.

One MWSL team received additional attention, as the NSL News has covered the steep team career of SDC Rhythm XP already quite a few times. However, no current videos of the US shooting star have been available until MWSL Director Alan Butt provided the footage of the MWSL season opener.

The first uploaded videos feature SDC Rhythm XP at the end of the video file, with Rounds 1 and 2 of the MWSL June meet.

Rhythm's 2008 lineup
Laurent Beaudouin (Tail), Janette Lefkowitz (Center Outside), Steve Lefkowitz (Point), Rob Radez (Center Inside), with Kevin Naftzger on camera, opened the 2009 outdoor season just as impressively as they had already performed at the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009 indoor competition.

The 16.8 average of the 2009 lineup with new Center Inside Rob Radez already matches almost exactly the meet average (16.8) that won the Advanced Class gold medals with last year's lineup at the USPA Nationals 2009. The new lineup can now be viewed in full action on NSL YouTube TV.

CSC Pareto Optimal in action
Rhythm was able to keep up with the national 4-way team of the Netherlands, Dynamic Fource, on that June weekend. In fact, the MWSL team won round 1 and then lost Round 2 by two points. The Dutch team was up by one point after two rounds and ended up two points ahead of SDC Rhythm XP after six rounds. More videos of the MWSL season opener will be uploaded soon.

It is well worth to pay attention to the other MWSL teams, as well. AA Class team CSC Pareto Optimal gave the other international AA Class teams from Netherlands and United Kingdom a great competition and ended up tied in 3rd place of 14 teams, one single point behind Random Vengeance (UK) and Ignition (NL) after the scores of five rounds.
