NSL News Coverage of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024

Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features the makings of Dubai's 43-year anniversary jump?

43-year anniversary jump's group of top competitors
posted Dec 9th, 2014 - The Sun Path Products NSL News mentioned on 6 December 2014 that Craig Girard organized the next anniversary jump at the 5th Dubai International Parachuting Championship, as the DIPC always coincides with the celebrations for Dubai's birthday, the 43rd this year.

The 24-way for the 43-formation was a good opportunity to watch many of the best skydivers in the world work together for a common purpose. The NSL-TV camera followed the group during the ground preparations, from meeting at the Dubai tent to the take-off for the jump.

Craig Girard selected the group and organized the jump, as he had done in the past years. The new NSL Reality TV video clip shows the group at work and introduces several of the participants.

Picture-perfect: 43-year anniversary formation
The video also includes a short conversation with Alex "Daddy" Grauwels, father of NMP-PCH Hayabusa members Andy and David, who usually travels with his sons to the major events. He said that Hayabusa will be ready for the next World Championship of Formation Skydiving in 2016.

The anniversary jump turned out to produce a picture-perfect number of 43, as the video shows at the end.

The second video was produced by Skydive Dubai's professional camera team and is a summary of the events on the same day when the 43 was flown in freefall. It includes the official end of the 5th DIPC 2014 at the award ceremony in the evening.
