Did You Know...

... that Round 1 has the fastest sequence of the 10-round meet at Paraclete XP?

Golden Knights delegation at Paraclete XP
posted Jun 13th, 2009 - Golden Knights member Brian "BK" Krause has provided the next updates of the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009. He is the new team captain of the Army's Formation Skydiving teams, the new 8-way lineup and the Golden Knights Black and Gold 4-way teams.

The two 4-way teams Black and Gold consist of the members of the 8-way lineup, with one exception. Kurt Isenbarger does not train and compete in 8-way, but he is a member of the Black 4-way lineup, together with Brian Krause, Matt Davison and Sean Sweeney. He does not compete this weekend though, Jason Harris fills his slot.

Former Golden Knights videographer Larry Miller, Josh Coleman, Justin Blewitt and Michael LeRoche are the Gold members. Matt Accord has Kurt Isenbarger's slot in 8-way. Eric Heinsheimer is the alternate for the 8-way team, and Will Flemming is on camera.

Both 4-way lineups are competing at Paraclete XP this weekend. The 8-way lineup will also get into competition action on Monday. Brian Krause told the NSL News already earlier that the 8-way team has already completed over 500 jumps ever since it was recruited this year. He plans to add another 500 jumps this year and before the USPA Nationals 2009 in October.

The Golden Knights know the wind tunnel in Raeford very well. Brian Krause said that his teams also completed approx. 25 to 30 hours of tunnel training. He plans to continue with more tunnel training on a regular basis.

Action has begun in Raeford
The 11 teams at Paraclete XP completed their last training sessions this morning. The field consists of eight AAA Class and three Rookie Class teams.

The competition draw was handed out at 10 am Eastern Time, and the first round is scheduled for 11 am.

The AAA Class teams have their own competition draw, as the NSL draw was already posted Friday evening, while the teams were still training in Raeford. The Rookie Class teams will copy the NSL draw.

Round 1 has the fastest sequence of the whole competition (9 - K - P - C) and will bring extremely high numbers to the scoreboard. The scores of Round 1 will be posted as soon as they are available. Come back soon.
