... that Paraclete XP8 challenges the Golden Knights in 8way?

New French national 8way team: Venturi
posted Mar 1st, 2014 - It is time to turn to the 8way competition at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2014.

There is a very good reason to give the 8way event some serious attention. There is more competition than expected, and it is actually happening in a different way than expected. The first of the two Paraclete XP events, the indoor competition, is featuring the first confrontation between the Golden Knights, the reigning 8way world champions, and the new French national 8way lineup, Venturi.

This first USA vs. France duel is happening, however, the Golden Knights are actually challenged even more seriously by an unexpected contender, the new Paraclete XP8 lineup.

Unexpected leader after Round 3: Paraclete XP8 lineup
The Sun Path Products NSL News was focusing on the duel between the current national teams of the world's two 8way powerhouses. The first recording of competition rounds was in Round 2, and the NSL-TV camera captured only the flying session with Golden Knights and Venturi.

A quick look at the leaderboard after Round 2 and an earlier conversation with former Golden Knights team captain Brian "BK" Krause brought a surprising situation to the attention of the Sun Path Products NSL News. Paraclete XP8 was in 2nd place, only one point behind the Golden Knights and nine points ahead of the French national team.

The camera was turned on for Round 3 when both Paraclete 8way lineups came back into the flying chamber, and it was just the right time. XP8 won this round over the Golden Knights by two points and took the lead....
