Did You Know...

... that the Bad Boyz posted their highest meet average in team history?

Czech Skydiving League group at Skydive Arena
posted Feb 14th, 2014 - The indoor events are still dominating the Sun Path Products NSL News updates. The latest scores came once again from the Czech Republic, and they were not a direct answer to the Florida group's scores ay iFLY Orlando for the Indoor Cloud League, which were posted yesterday.

The Skydive Arena in Prague hosted the February meet of the Czech Republic Skydiving League. Most of the Czech teams collect Indoor Cloud League scores for the Skydive Arena, as well. However, they also have their monthly 10-round competitions, where the whole dive pool comes into play.

Ten of the eleven Czech teams improved their meet averages from January to February, some of them significantly. This is a threatening situation for Florida's iFLY Orlando group, as organizer Jan Klapka will soon follow up with the Indoor Cloud League scores and videos. He said that he has counted a total of 133 points for February so far.

Florida Skydiving League group at iFLY Orlando
The consistency of the team training in the Czech Republic is slowly showing the better results than the Florida strategy generates, which is focused more on recruiting new particiants. Both national 4way teams (Bad Boyz, CZ Ladies) collect points for the Skydive Arena, while the lineups change month by month at iFLY Orlando.

However, the Florida strategy with the different mission works just as well. In fact, several new teams have recently been formed and begin to show results of their own training efforts. They will soon contribute to the Indoor Cloud leagues scores for iFLY Orlando as the Czech teams do.

The Bad Boyz even posted their highest meet average in team history with the 18.6 this week. The Czech national team will also compete at the World Challenge 2014 for the first time, together with the CZ Ladies.

Awards at the Canadian Indoor Championship 2013
Direct Indoor Cloud League competition for Florida came from Canada a day after the FSL Tunnel Kicker at iFLY Orlando. SkyVenture Montreal posted their first scores for the month of February.

Team Hummingbird was once again responsible for the Rookie AA and Rookie A Class scores. Luc Geoffroy, Veronique Guay, Manon Corbeil and Roger Theriault outscored the Florida lineups in the same categories by a total of 12 points.

Florida is not only under pressure from the Skydive Arena and iFLY Seattle. It seems to be only a matter of time when SkyVenture Montreal will cover all six sequences for the first time and compete for the top spot.

SkyVenture Montreal is also hosting the Canadian Indoor Championship 2014 in March. Hummingbird did not attend the event last year and seems to get ready to enter this time. The A Class is the lowest entry level at SkyVenture Montreal, and Hummingbird will have to train the four blocks (6,7,9,21) to participate. The random work is promising...
