Did You Know...

... that the Bad Boyz won the Czech 4way title for the 2nd time since 2010?

Bad Boyz launching the Star of Round 2
posted Aug 27th, 2013 - The UK Nationals 2013 are over, at least in 4way, and the Sun Path Products NSL News will follow up with more information and stories very soon.

The Czech Republic also held the country's national championships last weekend, and nine teams completed ten rounds in three different categories. The Bad Boyz attended the team's 8th competition this year and won the national title at the 4th outdoor meet this year.

Lize was the defending champion (14.1) who had represented the Czech Republic at the Mondial Dubai 2012 (14.9) and the Bad Boyz placed 2nd last year with an 8.7 average. The 11.8 average last weekend was the winner this year.

The Bad Boyz won the national title for the second time in the team's history and since Jan Klapka launched the Czech Republic Skydiving League in 2005. The first time was in 2010 when SkyService/Skywalkers/Lize, with the most experienced Czech 4way competitors in the lineup, took a break.

The new Bad Boyz lineup has been re-building successfully and is slowly moving back up to the scoring level of 2009. The new Czech 4way champion also contributed one of the first Indoor Cloud League August scores and videos for the Czech group at the Skydive Arena in Prague. The Bad Boyz perform the AAA Class sequence very well and are collecting 26 points for the Czech Republic.

The Czech skydiving center in Prostejov is the host for next year's World Championship of Formation Skydiving, and the Bad Boyz have the opportunity to compete on home turf and at a World Meet for the first time.

Awards for the Czech A Class teams
Zoonte won the A Class competition just as clearly as the Bad Boys in the AAA Class. It was the team's 6th outdoor competition this year, and the 12.0 average could once again be the 1st place on the overall A Class leaderboard last weekend. The UK teams had a different competition draw over only eight rounds, and Tr4ck won with a 12.1 average in Hibaldstow. Zoonte surely is one of the best A Class teams in Europe and in the world this year.

The competition for the silver medals was exciting enough in both categories last weekend. Relative Team, Hvezdy and Accord exchanged blows round by round and took turns in posting and sharing highscores. It was Hvezdy's first year in the AAA Class, and only one point separated the team from the 2nd place in the new category.

All three teams behind Zoonte also posted at least once the highest score for a round in the A Class. Bestie secured the 2nd place in the middle of the 10-round meet and won the silver medals before Sky Vengeance began to catch up to finish eight points behind. Sky Vengeance is the other Czech team on the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard.
