Did You Know...

... that Monday was a French day at the Mondial Dubai 2012?

Happy French 8way competitors
posted Dec 3rd, 2012 - Monday started out well for the French delegation in the traditional 4way events, and it only got even better in 8way and VFS 4way.

France won three of the four events today, where all teams had to perform only one round. The Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders were the only French team who had to settle for a tied Round 6 with the Golden Knights.

Today's attack by the French delegation even changed one of the four leaderboards on the very top. VFS Team4speed finally ended up where they were four years ago after a slow start for the French national team in this event. It is the first time at the Mondial 2012 that any of the four French teams has the lead. The NSL News found French 8way coach Erwan Pouliquen and team captain Clement Martin St. Leon still at the DZ at the end of the day. They had won Round 6 by two points over the Golden Knights who suffered a point deduction close to the end of the working time and barely avoided another one.

Elena Chistova with the Illusions
The battle between the Golden Knights and Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders continues round by round. Both teams tied their scores again in Round 6, and the 1-point difference is still the same. Each team has won two rounds, and they tied their scores in the two other rounds. The new videos of Round 4 show one of the French highscores.

UK's Bodyflight Langar lineup is slowly catching up with the Russian Illusions. Elena Chistova is actually on double duties, as she is also coaching the Dubai Asaar Ladies at the same time, who are in a tough battle with the team from China for the 10th place and a slot in the semifinals.

Germany's Sky & Sand is still successfully defending the 6th place. Sweden and Australia are pushing hard, and it will be an exciting race for the last slot in the final round.
