The NSL News mentioned earlier that it was a devastating start into the competition for France, caused by a total of seven point deductions, with up to 11 marked infringements on the scoresheet. The French delegation and other teams and competitors were shocked since the French performance did not show anything extraordinary.
The NSL Reality TV video confirmed "just another jump" with a few glitches here and there and the potential for a few penalties. It was difficult to see it as an extremely ugly round. The World Challlenge rules allow the teams to challenge a judging call and ask for re-judging, and French national manager Jeremie Rollett used this opportunity. The judges reviewed Round 1 and deducted only two points on Saturday morning.
NMP-PCH Hayabusa did not have a 7-point lead over Airspeed in 2nd place any longer. Now it was only a 4-point lead over France. Airspeed found themselves in 3rd place and is now even more in the position that the team actually likes: Coming from behind. Mark Kirkby said before Round 6 that his team was already in attack mode on Friday. Not much would change for Airspeed on Saturday.
Then it was time for Round 6 and time to leave the breaking morning news behind. NSL Reality TV presents the activities on Saturday morning leading into the videos of the top teams in the flying chamber.
