Did You Know...

... that Doug Park remembered last year's XL drama?

posted Mar 29th, 2008 - Memories of last year's event did not only come back for the NSL News when Team XL still had the lead after Round 3, as the current leaderboard shows. The NSL-TV camera made a trip to the hangar where the teams prepare for their tunnel sessions. It surely is a very busy area.

It was a good time to visit since Hayabusa Defence prepared for the next round on the creepers, and the team's former coach Doug Park, currently Fastrax and Knight Trax member, was watching all the activities in the hangar, together with the whole Perris Fury lineup.

Teams prepare for their rounds
The NSL News used the opportunity to ask Doug Park for comments after Round 3. He experienced the whole drama with XL on the first day of last year's event when he was chasing the international team with his own team Fastrax.

Doug Park recalled some funny moments when XL member Steve Hamilton added a freefly maneuver to the 4-way performance last year. He thinks that the technical challenges are still ahead of XL, and this year's meet could become a copy of last year's drama.

Doug Park explains a detail of the 2007 event
Perris Fury member Josh Hall added few comments for the NSL News before a financial aspect of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008 came up in the conversation with Christy Frikken...

The video of the live interview with Doug Park and Perris Fury can be viewed by clicking here. The scores of Round 4 will be posted very soon, stay tuned.
