Did You Know...

... that that Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge prefers competing over training in the tunnel?

Winner of the World Challenge 2010: Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge
posted Apr 5th, 2010 - The NSL News will soon begin with the review of the World Challenge 2010 using all the competition videos that have not been available for the on-line audience so far. The videos that were uploaded during the coverage of the indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford captured the competition action from the perspective of the observer in the flying chamber. The videos from the judging perspective will be next.

NSL-TV still goes back two more times to the last day of the competition before the new videos will be used for more details of the competition. The award ceremony has always been a fun and exciting part of the World Challenge, not only because Paul Mayer handed out a total of more than $17,000 to the Top 4 of the AAA Class competition.

It is also a party atmosphere that always turns into a real party after the award ceremony. The NSL-TV camera captured the time when the winner of this year's competition, Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge, entered the stage to accept the medals for the 1st place and received the check from Paul Mayer.

Judging of Round 10 - Award Ceremony at the World Challenge 2010 - NSL Talk with France
The World Challenge 2010 party begins
Bodyflight Bedford's owner and the top teams had once again set up the stage for a real showdown, and the NSL News joined the game. The scores for Round 10 were not available when the teams and the live audience gathered in the Flow House for the final showdown. In fact, the judges had waited with the judging of the final round until the stage was set.

The NSL News had already used the waiting time for a conversation on camera with Arizona Airspeed's Craig Girard, which will be featured later on. Then the French national team agreed to speak with the NSL News live on camera before the judging of Round 10 began.

The scores were not known by then, and the race for the 1st place was still as tight as can be. Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge was up by one single point over XL after Round 9. Watching the judging of Round 10 would really be a nerve wrecking feature. CamScore presented both performances once again on a split screen, and the French team's penalty added almost more drama to the final showdown than an observer or even a team member could handle. The French team managed to make up for the lost point in time and won the competition. The NSL News added some footage of the following party after the jumps were shown and the award ceremony concluded the World Challenge 2010.
