posted Dec 2nd, 2012 - The situation in 8way has almost become hopeless for France. The Golden Knights are marching forward as if nothing can stop them in team leader Brian "BK" Krause's last competition for the US Army.

It is a 7-point difference after four rounds, and Aerodyne Maubeuge needs a little miracle to change the final outcome. They cannot count on mistakes by the Golden Knights, as the team is so well trained that the biggest mistake could probably only be an average performance in a round.

Both teams were clean in Round 4, and the Golden Knights still added three points to the lead in the fastest sequence of the meet so far. The races for the 4th place, the semifinals and finals are more exciting now than the competition is on the top of the leaderboard for the three sets of FAI medals. Germany and Switzerland keep battling for the spot behind the medal positions, and three teams are tied in 6th place, which is the last slot for the final Round 10.

The Qatar Falcons are currently in 10th place, which would bring them into the semifinals and Round 9. CTR Optimum's 8way lineup from Brazil is only one single point behind. Both teams are also in reach of the 6th place, which makes it a total of six teams fighting for the one precious slot in Round 10.

M8Trix from the Netherlands is in 6th place at the moment after winning Round 4 in this pack. However, each of the teams tied in 6th place can easily fall out of the finals with one bad round. They can even fall out of the semifinals with some bad luck. It is a very exciting 8way competition in many ways. The new NSL-TV video features all other 8way teams in Round 1.
