... that NMP-PCH Hayabusa is still on high alert after a victorious Clash of Champions?

4th place in the AAA/Open Class: Golden Knights
posted Nov 28th, 2015 - It's all said and done at the Clash of Champions, and NMP PCH Hayabusa had the last word, literally.

The Sun Path Products NSL News saved the best for last and met with the reigning indoor and outdoor 4-way world champions at the end of the day to wrap up the historic event at Inflight Dubai.

It turned out that it required exactly a 26.0 average to make the Top 10 at the Clash of Champions, as predicted in the preview on November 25th.

The French national team in 4-way Open, FLY-IN, barely made it with the 10th place, and Gavroche missed the Top 10 for the first time ever since the 8-way world champions entered the indoor competition world in 4-way.

On the other hand, Golden Knights and French FLY-IN Girls left several AAA Class teams behind and placed within the world's Top 10 spots.

Super Sequence: Pete Allum and Dennis Praet
NMP PCH Hayabusa started slowly and were a point down at the end of the first day. It seemed like the second indoor showdown this year with Arizona Airspeed could have a different turnout than at the Wind Games 2015.

It did not happen, as Hayabusa picked up the pace and gained momentum on Friday. Airspeed still won Round 5 by a point on Friday morning before Hayabusa had enough of that. The Belgians won four of the remaining five rounds by at least two points and finished eight points ahead of Airspeed after Round 10.

That was not the end of the Hayabusa party at Inflight Dubai. Meet coordinator Pete Allum had added an 11th round to the meet game, even though there was not a jump-off situation.

The Super Sequence (M-B-P-J-C) was a separate event with a clean plate for only the Top 10 teams, and Hayabusa won iPads and iPhones by posting a 63-pointer, four points ahead of Weembi Lille and Black Cat, five points ahead of Airspeed.

Now on high outdoor alert: NMP PCH Hayabusa
Dennis Praet and Jeroen Nollet are still undefeated at any indoor meets, and Hayabusa is still the top favorite at the upcoming World Air Games, as the reigning outdoor and indoor world champions.

However, the Hayabusa members made clear that they are still on high alert whenever Arizona Airspeed is the opponent. The outdoor competition at Skydive Dubai is a new and very different game, where exits and first pages become the main components.

Hayabusa is entering the outdoor competition after a 25.0 average at the FAI World Cup 2015. Arizona Airspeed posted a 25.6 average at the USPA Nationals 2015.

The World Air Games will be the first direct outdoor confrontation between the two best 4-way teams in the world. The plates are clean again, and the new game begins on December 8th...
