Did you know that Czech Sharks and Helikopters join forces in the new HeliSharks? posted: Mar 16th, 2026 Round 1 of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026 is not far away, and the participating teams are working to complete their indoor training plans as effectively as possible. In addition, several competition practice opportunities are available. The NSL News recently covered the Bronteroc trip to Slovakia, while the Hungarian team’s planned visit to the German Indoor Championships did not materialize.
The Czech 4-way teams did not host any visiting teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague this month, and the two teams planning to compete at the April event in Weembi Lille have still not performed yet... (more)
Did you know that Hungary's Bronteroc are back in FAI indoor action? posted: Mar 15th, 2026 Teams from Slovakia have been posting scores for years at the regular indoor competitions of the Czech Tunnel League, especially after the Hurricane Factory Tatralandia in Slovakia committed to host the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023. Kiss My Grips represented the host nation in the 4-way Women category, while SDU GenZ competed in the 4-way Junior duel with the Czech team HF Flying Rebels.
The Slovak 4-way junior team had originally planned to participate only in the indoor world championship. Kiss My Grips disbanded at the end of the 2024/2025 indoor season, after team member Ivica Just... (more)
Did you know that the combined 4-way leaderboard has its own NSL Power Rankings? posted: Mar 12th, 2026 The final part of the initial NSL Power Rankings for the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026 next month is a combined 4-way leaderboard that is not part of the official FAI/ISC competition format. Teams competing in the 4-way Open Class—up to four teams in each category—can post their scores in any gender variation on the Open Class leaderboard, as long as they follow the other FAI/ISC rules and regulations.
All-female teams also have the opportunity to post their scores on a separate leaderboard and compete for their own set of FAI/ISC medals. However, all-female lineups may still choose to compete... (more)
Did you know that the 8-way competition could match the expected 4-way drama? posted: Mar 11th, 2026 Expectations for an exciting 8-way competition at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026 may be nearly as high as they are for the two horizontal 4-way events. This is somewhat surprising, as FAI/ISC indoor and outdoor competitions over the past decade have been clearly dominated by U.S. 8-way teams—first by the Golden Knights, then by Paraclete XP8, and at times by combinations of both teams (GKXP8).
GKXP8 won the previous FAI/ISC indoor competition at Paraclete XP in April last year by a margin of 50 points over France’s D'Arc8 (325–275). The team in third place, Qatar Falcons, finished 68 points... (more)
Did you know that the 4-way Women competition could become the FAI Indoor World Cup's highlight? posted: Mar 10th, 2026 The NSL News continues with the first NSL Power Rankings in 4-way Women at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026. The situation is similar to the 4-way Open category, where more than half of the teams that competed at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025 will return for the next FAI/ISC indoor event.
Both spectators and participants can once again look forward to a serious battle for the three sets of 4-way Women medals. In contrast, the 4-way Open Class competition will most likely feature a fight mainly for second place, as many 4-way experts still consider the French Aethers out of reach for NMP... (more)
Did you know that the first NSL Power Rankings include 25 of the 27 teams competing at Weembi Lille? posted: Mar 10th, 2026 The most recent FAI/ISC indoor event was the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025 at Paraclete XP in April last year. The next event on the calendar is the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026, as indoor and outdoor world championships alternate every other year.
The upcoming indoor World Cup returns to Weembi Lille, where the third indoor world championship took place in 2019. That event at Weembi Lille also marked the first indoor world championship for 8-way teams, as the 16-foot flying chamber provided the space required for the adjusted 8-way indoor dive pool. Paraclete XP followed six years later with... (more)
