Did you know that the original Arizona Airspeed lineup is back in 4-way action? posted: Oct 24th, 2025 There is motion on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard of the USPA Nationals 2025 even before the competition has started with Round 1 on Sunday. After the removal of Spaceland Lite, eight U.S. teams were on the first NSL Power Rankings behind the French national team in 4-way Open, Aethers Lille.
Two newly registered 4-way Open Class teams make it a total of eleven teams at the moment. Did you know that the A/Beginner Class is the biggest winner at the USPA Nationals? posted: Oct 24th, 2025 The biggest winner of the USPA Nationals 2025 is the A/Beginner Class that USPA included first time in the event format for the national outdoor championships in 2021. The National Skydiving League introduced the A Class in 2000, dive pool and sequences are still the same that they were when the category was launched.
It was the next step to offer 4-way teams a gradual progression from the beginnings of a team career to the complete FAI/ISC dive pool, with currently 22 blocks and 16 random formations. The NSL followed up a few years later with the introduction of the RRR (Rookie) Class, which... (more)
Did you know that AA/Intermediate and A/Beginner Class teams combine for record numbers? posted: Oct 23rd, 2025 The participation numbers of currently registered teams for the 4-way competition at the USPA Nationals 2025 are more than promising. The negative progression since 2017 seems to be history, and this year's national outdoor championship seems to be on the way to beat the numbers of 2022 (Skydive Chicago), 2023 (Skydive Paraclete XP) and 2024 (Skydive Chicago). A total of 58 teams have signed up for the horizontal 4-way competition, and registration is still open until Saturday.
As usual, the 4-way AA/Intermediate Class teams contribute most to the total number, even though this category is facing... (more)
Did you know that the USPA 4-way Open Class leaderboard needed a correction? posted: Oct 23rd, 2025 Thanks to the NSL News supporters and their financial support for the live coverage of the USPA Nationals 2025 the small NSL News operation has successfully transitioned from DeLand, Florida, to Eloy, Arizona, where the last training days are in full swing, while other USPA competition events take place at the same time.
Thursday was the first day of the MFS 2-way competition, where seven rounds were scheduled for the first day, three more rounds for Friday. Three CSC Constellation XP members (Casey Long, Paul Webster, Russell Bayuk) were warming up in MFS 2-ways for their team’s first 4-way... (more)
Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa train only CISM sequences at Skydive City? posted: Oct 22nd, 2025 NMP PCH HayaBusa's previous visit at Skydive City for a training camp was in May this year. There was another special occasion that happened on the same day in May. Newest HayaBusa member Ray Lodens passed the 1000-jump benchmark during the training day. He took a more or less voluntary bath in Skydive City's swooping pond after the last training jump for the... (more)
Did you know that Vana Parker helps catching up with female NSL Profiles? posted: Oct 21st, 2025 The NSL News realized at the beginning of the year that the proportion between male and female competitors in the NSL Profiles was out of balance. It came to the surface with the publication of Jeana Billings' NSL Profile.
It did not take too long until Michelle Karamon followed her former Ranch 2nd Generation and XPG4 team mate with her own NSL Profile, and Jennifer Davidson was the third and last NSL Profile addition this year.
The NSL Profile balance is still out of proportion, as there are currently 31 male formation skydiving celebrities on the male side of the gender options, ten on... (more)
