News Article Have you heard that Arizona Airspeed’s Joey Marshall, Doug Hendrix, and Alisson de Vargas evaluated the NSL Power Rankings?
posted: Apr 1st, 2026 NSL News typically launches its preview of major events with the power rankings, followed by evaluations from the audience and experts in the sport. These contributors are sometimes active competitors, and often coaches who work closely with the teams featured in the rankings. The latest assessment came from highly active competitors who will not attend the upcoming FAI Indoor World Cup 2026. Team captain Joey Marshall and new member Doug Hendrix found time for another NSL Live Talk conversation before the full Arizona Airspeed lineup was scheduled to meet with original Airspeed member Jack... News Article Have you heard that the BENELUX Championship leaderboard required adjustments as well?
posted: Mar 31st, 2026 As mentioned by NSL News in today's earlier update, which addressed scoring corrections following the completion of the Weembi FS Cup 2026, the results of the BENELUX Indoor Championship 2026 also needed closer review. As expected, the situation proved to be similar. The scores from Belgium earlier this month were generated using the same judging system employed at Weembi Lille. NMP PCH HayaBusa’s 34.0 average was, in fact, based on a total of 340 points over 350 seconds of working time across ten rounds. The judging calls themselves remained unchanged by NSL News; and HayaBusa lost a total... (more)
News Article Have you heard that scores and rankings required adjustments following the Weembi FS Cup?
posted: Mar 31st, 2026 The Rolling Aethers were not as close to the historic NMP PCH HayaBusa 35+ performances as it initially appeared. Alban Rumolo and Mathieu Quizy will have another opportunity when they rejoin their own team at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026. Their teammates from last weekend, Julien Degen and Roy Janssen, are not registered for the FAI competition. Attentive observers in the audience informed the NSL News of discrepancies between the scores on the 4-way leaderboard of the Weembi FS Cup 2026 and the results generated by private judges using the same competition videos. NSL News confirmed these... (more)
News Article Have you heard that Rolling Aethers set new personal record averages?
posted: Mar 29th, 2026 NMP PCH HayaBusa’s signature lineup from 2015 to 2019 (David and Andy Grauwels, Dennis Praet, Jeroen Nollet) has held the highest 4-way indoor and outdoor meet averages in history for many years. They set the outdoor record (28.9) at the USPA Nationals 2019 and the indoor record (35.4) at the Wind Games eight months earlier that same year. The Belgian team remains the only one to have ever achieved a 35+ average—and they did so twice, without the benefit of a Super Sequence in either of the two 10-round meets. There have been several strong and promising attempts to match HayaBusa’s accomplishments—some... (more)
News Article Have you heard that Meltemi Oceanside Illertissen placed second with a new lineup?
posted: Mar 28th, 2026 Two 4-way teams and two 8-way teams from Germany are registered for the FAI Indoor World Cup next month. Both 4-way teams are part of the NSL Power Rankings in Motion, and one of them had been considered a strong medal contender prior to the recent changes. In fact, the 4-way Women team Meltemi Oceanside Illertissen has already earned FAI medals in the past. Linda Köb, Franziska Wiesler, Andrea Kleinschmidt, and Petra Jastram won World Cup bronze at Norway 2023, with Pablo Fahrenschon on camera, and also secured European FAI silver medals at the same event. They previously represented Germany... (more)
News Article Have you heard that the NSL Power Rankings for the indoor world cup are in motion?
posted: Mar 27th, 2026 The unofficial NSL Power Rankings featured in competition previews are naturally fluid, as participating and registered teams compete in other events during the lead-up to the main competition. The rankings are regularly scrutinized by audiences and experts, and they are adjusted whenever new scores are posted or updates become necessary. It is less common, however, for the field of teams itself to change due to withdrawals and new additions. During the lead-up to the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026, the NSL Power Rankings have been more dynamic than usual for several reasons. The Dynos were removed... (more)
