News Article Did you know that Spaceland Dallas Pajama Party and STF4 won the Cloud Games?
posted: Jun 16th, 2026 The June 6/7 weekend also featured the latest edition of the Cloud Games, an event that has applied the format of the international NSL 4-way Network once a year since 2021. The competition offers 4-way events in three of the four NSL categories (AAA, AA and A), along with a separate Rookie Class that uses the A Class dive pool. However, the Rookie Class has yet to attract any participation since the event was introduced. The event can take place at an unlimited number of locations, although participation in USPA's AAA Class categories (Open and Advanced) has remained limited. In fact, both... (more)
News Article Did you know that Elliot Byrd is on camera for SDC Rhythm XP?
posted: Jun 15th, 2026 SDC Rhythm XP is one of the longest-standing 4-way teams in the United States and has been featured in NSL News headlines many times over the years. The pinnacle of the team's competitive success came with its 4-way Open Class victory at the USPA Nationals 2019, earning the team the USPA Championship title. That achievement also secured a place in the U.S. delegation for the FAI Tanay Mondial in August 2021, where Christy Frikken, Doug Barron, Andrew Happick, Steve Lefkowitz, and videographer Justin Wageman won silver medals behind NMP PCH HayaBusa. The 2021 season marked the third and final... (more)
News Article Did you know that Paranodon SOS transitioned quickly from AAA to A-Class competition?

The teams traveled from France to Florida, where they transitioned from indoor to outdoor competition at Skydive DeLand. Full-time teams and competitors are accustomed to challenging situations, whether on the logistical side or during a competition itself. However, it is relatively uncommon for recreational teams and competitors to commit to... (more)
News Article Did you know that last weekend's AA Class leaderboard proved to be the more closely contested competition?
posted: Jun 12th, 2026 The NSL News had already noted earlier that the AAA Class competition at the Paranodon Cup 2026 offered several compelling storylines beyond the performance of Germany's national team in 4-way Open, Airbus 4-way Illertissen. However, the international AA Class standings, featuring teams from Germany, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic, delivered the tighter contest from top to bottom. The three German AA Class home teams—Paranodon's Futura 6.9, Trick and Treat, and Imparable—were separated by just two points after all ten rounds. Futura 6.9 and Trick and Treat were even tied after Round... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Paranodon AAA Class leaderboard had more to offer than just Airbus 4-way?
posted: Jun 10th, 2026 The AAA Class competition at the Paranodon Cup in Illertissen last weekend featured more than Germany's national team in 4-way Open, Airbus 4-way Illertissen, with its current family lineup of Thomas Mack (Outside Center) and his two sons, Tim (Point) and Moritz (Video). The NSL News update on June 8th already covered this story in detail. Airbus faced little serious opposition at the Paranodon Skydiving Center. The newly available competition videos showcase the ten challenging sequences that included 21 of the 22 blocks in the current dive pool and seven 6-point rounds. The six slot-switching... (more)
News Article Did you know that R Class scores reached their highest levels of the season in April?
posted: Jun 9th, 2026 The R Class sequence of the Indoor Cloud League's April competition featured the easiest random formation in the dive pool, F (Open Accordion), for athletes taking their first steps in 4-way competition. The R Class is unique to Indoor Cloud League events and introduces all 16 random formations one by one, each paired with another random formation—the Star (M), the oldest formation in the history of the sport. The two player-coaches permitted under ICL rules are intended to provide a solid foundation for participants entering the wind tunnel with little or no experience in 4-way formations. Even... (more)
