posted: Aug 29th, 2011 Several World Cup 2011 competitors were again in action on the August 20/21 weekend. This time, they were US competitors, and they were all Golden Knights competing at the second meet of the Carolina Skydiving League 2011 at Triangle Skydiving. It was the Golden Knights Black team that battled with the female 4way lineup of the US Army. The Black team had competed only in 8way at the World Cup, while the Golden Knights ladies are 4way experts. News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP4 finishes on top of the 78-team leaderboard?
posted: Jul 22nd, 2011 The NSL News story on 19 July 2011 brought up a topic that has recently stirred up the 4-way community in the USA. USPA had decided in the last board meeting that Perris Fury and SDC Rhythm XP are the sanctioned Open Class teams to go to the 3rd Dubai Cup in November this year. Arizona Airspeed is not eligible according to the USPA Competition Manual. It was not a big surprise that the poll results after the NSL News story reflected a very different opinion of the audience. News Article Did you know that the Carolina Skydiving League has new high-profile leadership?
posted: Jul 2nd, 2011 The season opener of the Carolina Skydiving League is coming up soon, and the league has new leadership this year. Two very experienced competitors and coaches have joined forces to guide the teams and competitors in the Carolinas through the 2011 season. Paraclete XP 4 member Andy Honigbaum and former Angry Bee Jan Lane will hold three meets of the regular season, and two of them are posted on the CASL home page (July 16th, August 20th). News Article Did you know that Carolina Turbo XP continued with the scoring progression?
posted: Jul 2nd, 2010 The NSL News goes back to the June meet of the Carolina Skydiving League. CASL Director Dan Winkelstein has published all competition jumps on YouTube where they are ready for reviews. The videos include the six rounds of Carolina Turbo XP, the youngest AAA Class team in the country. The NSL News has followed Turbo ever since the team was founded, as the team seems to have the potential to make it to the very top in the world. News Article Did you know that the Carolina Skydiving League teams had reduced working time in Round 1?
posted: May 28th, 2010 Provided by CASL Director Dan Winkelstein The Carolina Skydiving League held its first meet of the 2010 season at Triangle Skydiving Center on May 22 and May 23. We had six teams in three divisions (AAA, AA and Rookie). Saturday we got one load off the ground before bad weather moved in. Since the first load only got to about 9000 ft, this round was judged to 30 seconds working time (instead of the normal 35 seconds). Between weather and aircraft problems the teams were grounded for the next eight hours. Team TSC Motion choose to stick around and finish as many jumps as possible on Saturday,... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Carolina Skydiving league supported Jump for the Cause?
posted: Feb 24th, 2009 For the past two years the Carolina Skydiving League has held its annual meeting in at the Paraclete-XP wind tunnel in Raeford NC. The highlight of the Carolina Skydiving League annual meeting is the tunnel meet. This year the league decided to team up with Paraclete-XP to raise money for Jump for the Cause. Jump for the Cause is a 501c3 corporation and the skydiving industry's premier fundraising Organization. JFTC is dedicated to raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer Research. Money raised by Jump for the Cause goes for Breast cancer research and the City of Hope hospital. With the... (more)
