The previous interview with him was published on June 13th, and it had taken place almost a whole year earlier. DeLand Majik had missed the qualification for the next world meet at the USPA Nationals 2002 and redeemed themselves at the FAI World Cup a month later.

He has been the role model for many competitors not only in the athletic area of the sport. It was not a big surprise that he became a very popular coach while he competed actively and until today.

Did you know that France was aiming at two gold medals and one bronze medal in 2003? posted: Mar 27th, 2003 The NSL News recently posted a previously unpublished interview with former French national coach Jerome David. He is well known for his coaching success at the FAI World Meet 2010 in Menzelinsk, Russia, where he won four gold medals in Formation Skydiving (4-way Open - 4-way Women - 4-way VFS - 8-way Open).
His NSL Profile is showing though that he began his work as the national head-coach much earlier. He had won his own FAI medals before he was promoted to the position of the national coach in 1994.

Did you know that three of the original Sinapsi members are still very active? posted: Mar 21st, 2003 The NSL News takes another leap in time, and the next update out of the unpublished archives connects once again past and present of Formation Skydiving competition. This time, it was the Italian team Sinapsi PD, who met with with the NSL News for an interview during a training camp at Skydive DeLand and after the completion of the Shamrock Showdown 2003. The original lineup had worked their way up to the world's 4-way top level, and three team members would eventually win bronze medals for Italy at the FAI World Meet 2006, with Pete Allum in the lineup, and two points behind the 2nd place.

Did you know that Skydive Sebastian hosted the last FSL meet in January 2003? posted: Jan 18th, 2003 The first meet of the Florida Skydiving League 2003 brought seven teams to Skydive Sebastian on a very cold morning.
The host was well prepared for the start of the FSL 2003 season with a Skyvan to fly the local 16-way team and fun jumpers and a Twinotter for the teams. Both aircraft are from Cross Keys, NJ. The event location was the site of the USPA Nationals in 1999 and is set up very well for a competition.
While the jumpers had above average facilities and aircraft, the NSL staff was spoiled by the location. Chief Judge Richard Schachner had his own almost private judging room. NSL President... (more)
Did you know that French national coach Jerome David evaluated the results of the FAI World Cup 2002? posted: Oct 24th, 2002 This interview with the French national coach Jerome David, who was responsible for the French Formation Skydiving sweep in Menzelinsk 2010, was published eight years before France won the four sets of gold medals (4-way Open - 4-way Women - 4-way VFS - 8-way Open) at the same event.
It also connects with the current situation in France, as national coach Mathieu Bernier is trying something that is very similar to the 2010 success.
