posted Nov 4th, 2016 - The Northern California Skydiving League has been posting scores on the monthly Indoor Cloud League leaderboards with two different teams since May 2016, when iFLY Sacramento joined and created internal regional NCSL competition.

NCSL Director Lori Connor has been organizing both groups, while most of the player coaches participated only at one of the two iFLY wind tunnels in California.

The teams have consisted of different players who chose their home tunnel according to the location.

iFLY SF Bay has won five of the six monthly events so far, including the October competition. The latest scores from California for last month's six sequences were just added to the ICL leaderboard for the 12+ flying chambers.

iFLY SF Bay had once again the prime lineup of player coaches available (Deanna Frank, Julius Frank, Leander van Schriek, Rob Radez) who also posted the 18-pointer for the AAA Class sequence.

It is difficult for the new team at iFLY Sacramento to keep up with the highly experienced 4-way competitors and coaches. However, Lori Connor, who carefully guided the iFLY SFBay team to this strong position, has begun to focus on the team at iFLY Sacramento and is picking up the pace at the newer location.

She hosted three ICL events at iFLY SFBay in October, while the ICL participants at iFLY Sacramento had only one opportunity to add scores and videos to the 12+ leaderboard.

iFLY SFBay has the upper hand in Northern California at this point in time, however, iFLY Orlando still has the lead for the 2016 season. Both ICL teams from California and Florida have been battling for the top spot month by month, and the September competition had been completed with a 2-point advantage (123 - 121) for iFLY Orlando.

iFLY SFBay now won the October competition by two points, as well (126 - 124), which brings both teams back to the same difference they had at the end of August (14). iFLY Orlando has to protect this lead for two more months to win the 2016 competition.

Lori Connor has scheduled three ICL events for November to get closer to iFLY SF Bay, where three events will take place once again. iFLY Orlando's ICL team will meet three times, as well, trying to fend off the challenges from California...
