... that consistent team training makes a difference?

Tied in 1st place: iFLY Seattle team
posted Aug 11th, 2015 - It's time for the BEST OF THE MONTH video of the Indoor Cloud League. July was one of the few months with no tied highscores for all six categories.

The ICL participation has grown to a point where chances are little that any of the teams can easily walk away from the field. The July competition was in fact the first time in the young history of the Indoor Cloud League that two teams ended up tied in 1st place.

iFLY Orlando and iFLY SF Bay were separated by one single point in July 2014 (131 - 130) for the previously closest battle. Last month, iFLY Dallas and iFLY Seattle both finished with a total of 127 points. It was the first time for both teams to finish on top of the ICL leaderboard for the monthly competition.

Highscore in the A Class: iFLY SF Bay lineup
The Sun Path Products NSL News is featuring the best teams of the July competition in two different ways this time. The first video presents the six winners in the six different categories. The second video zooms in on the AAA Class teams who took on the July sequence (D,7,J,16) for their ICL team.

Former SDC Rhythm XP member Rob Radez guided Lana Marenco, Ray Hebert and Matt Stephens to the R Class highscore at iFLY SF Bay, which is the beginning of the BEST OF THE MONTH video. New Florida Skydiving League Rookie Class competitor Nicola Davis was the Inside Center for iFLY Orlando's RR Class lineup who posted the 27-pointer in this category.

Richard Bisson and his Slim Jim team (Normand Favreau, Nicolas Galardo, Stéphane Hervieux) won the RRR Class competition for SkyVenture Montreal with 32 points.

AAA and AA highscores: Bad Boys
Dallas 360 member Scott Levy, with Paul McEnany, Lacey Porter and Roland Hicks in his A Class lineup at iFLY Dallas had strong competition in this category. The 23-pointer was the winner for July.

And then there were the Bad Boys again at the Hurricane Factory in Prague, who left the AAA and AA Class field in the dust. The 29-pointer in the AAA Class was three points better than the teams in 2nd place.

The 25-pointer for the AA Class sequence created the same 3-point difference to the next team.

The second video features all AAA Class teams and lineups in July, and it shows that there was serious competition for the Bad Boys.

Dutch national 4-way team M4trix in action
iFLY Dallas did not have the complete Dallas 360 lineup available, as Jim Rees was not around this time. However, Amanda Lampton was a very adequate and formidable substitute for Dallas 360, as the 26-pointer shows.

Even the best Dutch 4-way team M4trix, who represents the Netherlands at the upcoming FAI World Cup in Teuge, was not able to get close to the Bad Boys. M4trix and Dallas 360 both ended up three points behind the Czech national 4-way team.

iFLY SF Bay's AAA Class lineup with the coaches (Julius Frank, Deanna Frank, Rob Radez, Matt Stephens) finished one point ahead of the current 4Astrophe lineup at SkyVenture Montreal. iFLY Orlando, iFLY Seattle and SkyVenture New Hampshire ended up far behind the well trained teams on the top of the leaderboard. Consistent team training helps...
