posted Nov 17th, 2014 - The comeback season of the Northern California Skydiving League came to its end last month, and league director Lori Connor can look back at a successful re-start of regional 4-way competition in her area. The plans for the NCSL 2015 season have been finalized, and the meet dates are posted.

The Sun Path Products NSL News also reported on 3 July 2014 that Josh Hall, Arizona Airspeed 4-way world champion of 2012, and Yvonne "Yo" Owyeong had big plans for the Southern California Skydiving League next year.

The plans for both regions of California have materialized, and Formation Skydiving fans, teams and competitors can anticipate exciting events and activities for next year, as Lori Connor, Yvonne Owyeong and Josh Hall will offer more than only the usual monthly 4-way meets.

The meet schedule has been set, and it also includes a new and very exciting way how to run the 4-way competition in California. Both leagues have agreed to synchronize their meet schedule and will run their events on the same weekends.

This means that all teams and meet lineups in California can compete with each other indirectly throughout the regular season. The competition draw has been synchronized every weekend between any participating hosts of the NSL Network for many years. The hosts in California now have also synchronized their meet schedules, which creates an exciting runup to the final event.

It is also the first time that California will have a state championship at the end of the season, which will be hosted by Perris Valley Skydiving next year. It's the only event of the year where both leagues are merging to bring all Californian teams and competitors together for the final event.

The meet schedule is only a part of the activities that Lori Connor, Yvonne Owyeong and Josh Hall are offering to the Formation Skydiving community in California. Both leagues have their own projects for the winter and spring season, which will prepare all participants for the meets later on.

Lori Connor has run her NCSL Tunnel Kicker events and posted scores and videos for the monthly Indoor Cloud League competition at iFLY SF Bay for several months and will continue with the popular project.

She also has new plans for additional indoor events, the "No-Tail Scrambles", which will inspire flyers on the Rookie Class level to join 4-way competition. Outdoor skills camps are planned for March, April and July.

Host of the 1st California Championship 2015: Skydive Perris
Josh Hall and Yvonne Owyeong have a complete outdoor schedule for the 2015 season, which includes the four meets in Perris, Elsinore and San Diego and additional skills camps at the same locations and at a new SCSL host (January 10 - Elsinore, February 21 - Perris, March 14 - San Diego, April 11 - Tsunami, July 11 - Elsinore, October 10 - Elsinore, November 14 - Tsunami, December 12 - San Diego).

Josh Hall said that he will possibly schedule additional indoor events later. The Southern California Skydiving League group has not joined the Indoor Cloud League yet.

The schedules have been confirmed by both leagues and all participating hosts. Skydivers in California and visitors can add at least the meet dates to their 2015 calendars.
