... that NSL-TV features the DeLand Norgies 2014 reunion?

DeLand Norgies of 2013 and 2014
posted Aug 9th, 2014 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported the Norwegian Nationals on 4 August 2014, including the annual reunion of the DeLand Norgies and the battle for the top spot in the A Class. NSL-TV now follows up with eye candy for the weekend, the competition jumps of the DeLand Norgies at this year's national championships in Voss.

The lineup of the DeLand Norgies was identical with the one at last year's national championships, where Polaris member Sissel Maria Finnseth took the Tail slot for original Norgies member Carl-Erik Tuv. It was actually a reunion of the DeLand Norgies of 2013.

The DeLand Norgies with Sissel Maria Finnseth in the lineup completed only two rounds last year (17 - 29) and now added five more slow competition rounds with a 15.4 average.

Videographer Johan Bryhni also provided the footage of the DeLand Norgies and their 8-way lineup. Trude Sviggum, Polaris' Center Inside and piece partner with Sissel Maria Finnseth, joined the DeLand Norgies for 8-way fun.

Kjetil Nordin, member of the Norwegian national 4-way team in 2010, visited his homeland coming from Denmark. Former Arcteryx member Derek Broughton also joined the 8-way team, and Lise Nansen's husband Nikolai completed the lineup. The four 8-way teams in Norway completed three rounds, and the DeLand Norgies finished with an 11.3 average.

Norway has not registered any teams for the four categories at the upcoming FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014. The DeLand Norgies won bronze medals in 1999, 2001 and 2003. However, there are rumors that Norway has plans to build a new national 4-way team for the future...
