Did You Know...

... that Zoonte took the top of the overall leaderboard for the 4th time?

A Class overall winner: Zoonte in Prostejov
posted Jul 26th, 2013 - A Class team Zoonte of the Czech Republic Skydiving League caught the attention of the Sun Path Products NSL News the first time on 27 May 2013 after attending two meets in two different categories within a week.

The attention came back on 2 July 2013 after Zoonte finished on top of the weekend's overall leaderboard for the third time. Zoonte competed last weekend in Prostejov and won the A Class category once again, this time over four teams from Florida and two other Czech teams.

It is also quite unusual that Zoonte took the top of the leaderboard three times with exactly the same 11.0 meet average. It is a clear message to all A Class teams that it requires an 11.0 average to win on a weekend when Zoonte is competing.

2nd place for Bubbles: Happy DZ owner Martin Dlouhy
Only two rounds would count for last weekend's standings on the overall A Class leaderboard, as Mickey's Angels did not get any farther at Skydive Spaceland-Clewiston in Florida. However, the standings would be the same, with one exception, and even though Zunday would be only one point behind Zoonte after Round 2.

The exception took place on the bottom of the leaderboard and in Prostejov where Zoonte posted the 11.0 average. Bestie was two points ahead of Bubbles after Round 2 and lost the Czech duel in the last three rounds. The same duel had taken place in a very similar way at the previous meet in Prostejov. Only the outcome was the other way around in May.

Bubbles was ahead of Bestie after Round 2 in May and ended up behind after six rounds. This time, Bubbles, with DZ owner Martin Dlouhy in the lineup, finished three points ahead of Bestie at the end of the 6-round meet. The upcoming weekend brings more Czech teams together at the competition in Kolan.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa training in Prostejov
The Sun Path Products NSL News also reported on 22 July 2013 that Joey Jones was coaching the Swedish national 4way team in the female 4way category, Fire, through the meet in Prostejov. Team videographer Elof Wecksell has now provided the videos of all eight Fire rounds at last weekend's competition.

Fire and the team from Slovenia gave the meet in Prostejov the international atmosphere that Martin Dlouhy is used to after hosting World Cups in 2009 and 2012. He will also welcome teams from all over the world again next year at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa was training in Prostejov when the meet took place. Fire, Slovenia and Hayabusa used the opportunity to get familiar with the jump plane that will fly at the World Cup 2013 in Banjaluka. The Sun Path Products NSL News will provide live coverage from the event site.
