Did You Know...

... that four teams scored 20 points or higher in Round 6?

Charging for bronze medals: Gradient Alpha
posted Aug 4th, 2011 - There were only four teams in Round 6 with scores of 20 points or higher. Of course, Aerodyne Aerokart and NMP-PCH Hayabusa were two of them, both with 25-pointers. The French national team maintained the 3-point lead.

The other two teams posted 20-pointers, Gradient Alpha in the Open Class and Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders in the female 4way category. The NSL News mentioned earlier that the French ladies were only three points behind the bronze medal position in the Open Class after Round 6.

Stefan Brueck once again provided the NSL News with the videos of those four jumps in Round 6, which did not change anything between the two top contenders and brought Gradient Alpha much closer to the bronze medal position in the Open Class. Paratec-Saar, Sky Panthers Barkli and Gradient Alpha are now separated by two points. It's a race for the 3rd place.

"Magical Skydive Show Night"
There is a funny numbers game between the five teams on the leaderboard in the female 4way category: 144 - 133 - 122 - 111. Isn't that something for a coincidence? Only the Golden Knights fell out of pace as of the numbers.

The Illusions will probably like the numbers of the last two rounds even more, while the Deep Blue Defenders surely did not want to give away another round to the Russian team.

The 4way competition is over for the day, and the 8way teams are trying to catch up now. The Golden Knights won Round 4 by a point and are by two. All teams have completed Round 5, and the judges are working on the scores. There will also be more scores in 4way. Several teams have completed Round 7, and the judges are in the middle of it.

Then there will be a "Magical Skydive Show Night" on the stage later. Skydiver Martin Mall has done his professional tricks before, and he has a new one that will be done first time today. Also, the Fun Flag is now in UK possession and is flying in a very prominent place, easily visible for everybody. More about this later.
