Did You Know...

... that the Perris Fury project is building another 4-way team?

Ready for action in Perris: Flemming Andersen and Kristina Peterson
posted Dec 7th, 2010 - Perris Fury has now completed their 4-way lineup with the addition of Todd Hawkins. In order to continue growing the project, they are looking at putting together a second team with the goal of competing at a high level in the AAA/Open Class.

The new team will be working, training and competing with Perris Fury, and the goal for the new members is to continue growing the sport through coaching, organizing and putting together even more exciting Formation Skydiving events at Fury's home in Perris.

Two high-profile competitors have already committed to the team project. Flemming Andersen and Kristina Peterson just moved to Perris to become part of the project. They are now looking for two more people who want to take on the challenge of training hard and becoming immersed in the world of Formation Skydiving competition. The Fury team-building event on the Thanksgiving weekend gave both the opportunity to jump with some perspective team mates.

Flemming Andersen with Bodyflight Voluntas in Menzelinsk
Flemming Andersen has been a member of Denmark's team project for four years and became a member of the national 4-way team Bodyflight Voluntas in 2009. He competed with Voluntas at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 in Menzelinsk, Russia.

The Danish member of Fury's second lineup will continue with Voluntas and has even put together an 8-way team to compete for Denmark at the World Cup in 2011. He has a very light training schedule with both teams for the 2011 season and plenty of time to train with the new 4-way team in Perris.

Kristina Peterson with Tempest at the USPA Nationals 2009
Kristina Peterson has been competing in 4-way for 10 years. She competed with Elsinore Select, the US national 4-way team in IPC's female category, at the World Meet 2006 in Gera, Germany. Then she became the Center Inside center for Sebastian Tempest in 2008 and 2009. Tempest was one of the best amateur 4-way teams in the USA.

She accepted a player coach position for the AA/Intermediate Class team Deland Dunamis in 2010 and was a member of the Perris Moxie 8-way team at the same time. Moxie impressed the FS community this year by outscoring the Dallas Rogue lineup at the USPA Nationals 2010. Kristina Peterson continues with Moxie in 2011 while being a member of the new Fury 4-way lineup. The new lineup will compete as a guest team at the USPA Nationals 2011 and can accept other international competitors for the two open slots.

Perris Fury and the P3 project (Perris Performance Plus) have built interest in Formation Skydiving and created opportunities for skydivers of all levels to learn, progress and compete in the past years. The second Fury lineup will help to grow the projects and provide the additionally needed coaching and organizing. Interested competitors can contact Kris Peterson directly by e-mail (klpete@me.com).
