... that SKYLEAGUE.COM introduces the Team World Rankings?

17th place at the end of the 2013 season: Arizona Airspeed
posted Nov 9th, 2015 - There are no official world rankings for teams in Formation Skydiving competition. FAI/IPC has been ranking the nations in different events, as the Sun Path Products NSL News explained on January 9th, 2013. However, these rankings were quite far off the reality, with the USA in 10th place in 4-way Open at that time.

It was not much better after the latest FAI/IPC update that the Sun Path Products NSL News presented on December 23rd, 2013. The USA was in 17th place at the end of the 2013 season, while Arizona Airspeed and NMP-PCH Hayabusa continued with their battle for the top spot in the real 4-way world.

There have been no other FAI/IPC updates ever since, and the Sun Path Products NSL News is now posting the first official SKYLEAGUE.COM World Rankings in 4-way competition. The first rankings are considering all scores that 4-way Open Class teams have posted this year.

To the World Air Games: Arizona Airspeed's 2015 lineup
The rankings are not considering the difficulty of the competition draw, which can surely have an impact on the results. However, this impact goes only to a certain extent, and the rankings are nothing more or less than an informational overview.

It is an interesting point in time to take a closer look at the world rankings. The 2015 season is over for most of the 4-way teams. However, the leaderboard with the Top 20 teams will most likely change very soon. The World Air Games in Dubai are coming up soon, and several of the listed teams will compete at the event.

Four of the Top 10 are national teams (Arizona Airspeed, NMP-PCH Hayabusa, Black Cat, France) and have been invited to Dubai. Two of the next ten ranked teams (Vision 99, Rotor Out) will also represent their countries in Dubai, and the new meet averages might change the current rankings.
