Did You Know...

... that $1,000 are still on stake for Rounds 9 and 10 in DeLand?

Former world champion team mates, coaching colleagues and friends: Mathieu Bernier and Jeremie Rollett
posted Mar 19th, 2016 - The teams at the Shamrock Showdown 2016 added two more completed rounds to the leaderboard, and Round 9 is almost complete, as well. Sunday morning will bring the end of this year's event.

The scores of the two rounds on Saturday were higher than on Friday. The meet averages are on the way up, even though Rounds 7 and 8 were both slot switching sequences.

Today's NSL-TV video clips feature the battle for the 2nd place between Aerodyne French Girls and Qatar Tigers. The French national team in 4-way Women was looking forward to the AAA Class competition with some of the world's best AAA/Open Class teams, and they are ahead of SDC Rhythm XP and the Qatar Tigers. This duel also brings together two good old French friends who won many medals for France in 4-way and 8-way and now work as coaches for their teams: Mathieu Bernier (Aerodyne French Girls) and Jeremie Rollett (Qatar Tigers).

Skydive DeLand
Arizona Airspeed is not only on top of the leaderboard, which adds $500 of cash to the Shamrock Showdown team account. Skydive DeLand also sponsors the last three rounds of the competition with additional $1,500 for the Shamrock Showdown Skins Game.

Airspeed stepped up the performance level at the right time, and the 25-pointer in Round 8 was the highscore for the round, before and after handicap. The $500 cash for the

Round 8 skin ended up on the Airspeed account, as well.

It will be more challenging for Airspeed to win more money in Round 9. The Qatar Tigers have posted a 28-pointer, which turns into 32.34 points after handicap. Airspeed would need 33 points for Round 9 to win more money. SDC Rhythm XP and TurBu 2.0 will be in the same load with Airspeed on Sunday morning and have their eyes on the money, as well. Rhythm wins the $500 for Round 9 with a 27-pointer, TurBu with a 25-pointer
