... that France is in 1st place of the FAI/IPC 2015 world rankings in 4-way Women?

1st place in the FAI/IPC 2015 rankings: France
posted Jan 30th, 2016 - The Sun Path Products NSL News took a closer look at the 2015 world rankings of the International Parachuting Commission (IPC) of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) on January 23rd. The first story covered the rankings in the 4-way Open Class, followed up now by the female 4-way category.

The FAI/IPC rankings still have France in 1st place, even though the French FLY-IN Girls, the current French national team in this category, have not defeated the Golden Knights yet after three meets with both teams' current lineups: 1st FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships 2015, Clash of Champions 2015 and World Air Games 2015.

The U.S. Army team took the top position in the SKYLEAGUE.COM World Team Rankings when the French national 4-way team had personnel changes after winning the gold medals in Prostejov 2014, while the Golden Knights continued with the same lineup and posted impressive indoor and outdoor scores throughout the 2015 season.

4th place in the FAI/IPC 2015 rankings: U.S.A.
France won the gold medals in 4-way Women at the World Meets in 2010, 2012 and 2014 and at the World Cups in 2011, 2013 and 2015 which explains easily why the team is in 1st place of the FAI/IPC rankings. In fact, the French FLY-IN Girls with their new lineup have moved much closer to the Golden Knights since the first direct confrontation at the indoor competition in Prague.

The race to the gold medals in 4-way Women at the Mondial 2016 seems to be open again, and either team could probably claim the world's top spot. However, it still makes no sense that the Golden Knights ended up behind Russia (Infra Red Band) and Australia (Bellatrix) in the FAI/IPC world rankings at the end of the 2015 season.

NFTO, the British national team in 4-way Women, was also clearly ahead of Russia and Australia last year. The British team competed with Vana Parker, former Voodoo member, at the Wind Games 2016, where they ended up in 2nd place behind Wom'in France.

The only team that could realistically challenge NFTO for the bronze medals is Parachute Montreal Fuzion, and Canada is ranked in 7th place, even behind the SolarFlakes from Lithuania. Fuzion actually outscored NFTO at the World Air Games 2015 and won the bronze medals in Dubai. Russia's Infra Red Band finished behind NFTO and Canada both.

The Dubai Asaar Ladies did not make the Top 10 (12th) while Belgium's team Les Stunts are close to their realistic position in the world (9th - 8th).

The SKYLEAGUE.COM World Team Rankings have collected the first 2016 data after the Czech indoor competition in January, the Wind Games and the New Hampshire indoor meet. Three teams are listed in 4-way Women so far: Wom'in France (19.3) - NFTO (18.8) - Jujariwa (17.4) - CZ Ladies (15.3).
