Did You Know...

... that ten Czech teams tried to get their scores onto the Indoor Cloud League December leaderboard?

Early December scores: iFLY Orlando team on December 3rd
posted Dec 18th, 2015 - Most of the Indoor Cloud League scores and videos are usually being submitted at the end of each month when the team managers have completed all ICL activities and collected the footage.

iFLY Orlando often submits the data each time an event has taken place and adds on to the leaderboard when higher scores have been accomplished. This month, the Czech teams of the Sportflight 4-way project at the Hurricane Factory in Prague joined the Florida teams and competitors earlier on the ICL leaderboard and once again took the top spot right away.

Both ICL teams were separated by only one point in November to the advantage of iFLY Orlando. Jan Klapka's group at the Hurricane Factory now posted a total of 138 points for December, which is significantly higher than last month, while iFLY Orlando is still missing a score for the R Class sequence.

Bad Boys at the Clash of Champions
Three of the Czech scores on the current leaderboard were posted by two teams who recently competed at the Clash of Champions 2015. The Bad Boys delivered once again the top scores for the AAA (20) and AA (19) sequences, while Flying Circus, A Class winner at Inflight Dubai, posted the 28-pointer for the A Class sequence this month (J-A-9).

Skywalkers added the 19-pointer for the RRR Class sequence, and the HF Junior Cubs took care of the other two Rookie Class categories (RR: 24 - R: 28).

Ten different teams at the Hurricane Factory were trying to get their scores onto the ICL December leaderboard, and four of them combined for the total of 138 points. The HF Junior Cubs posted by far their highest scores in all three Rookie Class categories. The Skywalkers managed to outscore the youngsters in the RRR Class with their 19-pointer.

$7,000 at the Clash of Champions: Flying Circus
The Czech ladies, with Jan Klapka's wife Jirina Klapkova in the lineup, are also stepping up their performance level. They had posted a new team record average at Sportflight's ETL November competition and followed up by challenging the Bad Boys for the AAA and AA sequences this month.

Jan Klapka's son Jakub Klapka is a Flying Circus member and traveled with his father to Dubai. The A Class teams had a $13,000 jackpot to share, and Dagmar Bezdekova, Lukas Kaderabek, Jakub Klapka and Martina Vavackova took home the $7,000 for the 1st place.

Jan Klapka and his Bad Boys have now attended 12 indoor and outdoor meets this year, not counting the monthly Indoor Cloud League events. His wife Jirina Klapkova is not far behind with ten meets in 2015. However, son Jakub Klapka eventually brought some money back home from his trip to Dubai...
