posted Oct 16th, 2015 - There has been only one French NSL Profile so far, even though France is one of the most dominating nations in Formation Skydiving competition.

Jerome David, 4-way world champion in 1991 and 1993, and French national head coach between 1994 and 2010, was the first competitor from France who was featured with his NSL Profile. He had guided the French delegation to the FS sweep with four sets of gold medals in Menzelinsk 2010.

Marin Ferre has never been the French national head coach yet (Jerome David - Jeremie Rollett - Mathieu Bernier).

However, his skydiving career also combines a very successful active time (two world meet gold medals in 4-way) with great success as a coach.

In fact, his career as competitor/coach may last even longer than the ones of the other French coaches.

He is very busy as a coach and still very active whenever he gets an opportunity to enter a meet with other French top competitors.

Marin Ferre guided the French 4-way Open Class team to the world meet gold medals in 2010 and then the French teams in 4-way Women to additional gold medals in 2012 and 2014.

Now he tries to bring the new 4-way Open Class team back to the world's top level.

At the same time, he also works with the next generation of 4-way competitors in France, the 4-way Juniors of the Aerokart Ak'demie project, who will soon compete at the Clash of Champions.

The new NSL Profile pays special attention to the time of Marin Ferre's skydiving career that has not been covered by the Sun Path Products NSL News as much as the recent years and his coaching success.

Marin Ferre was born into a skydiving family. His parents met at the DZ, spent all their free time there and eventually got married at the DZ, as well.

It is no surprise that his brother (Martial) and sister (Celine) grew up as skydivers at the same nice little DZ in the French Bretagne, called Vannes.

Marin Ferre made his first jump on static-line in February 1990, and he won 4-way gold together with his brother Martial Ferre in 1999. More at the Marin Ferre's NSL Profile...
