Did You Know...

... that Betsy Waite, Nick Davis, Michael Rendon and Leslie Eggenberger flew on a higher level?

Florida ICL group at iFLY Orlando last Thursday
posted Sep 30th, 2015 - The end of the month increases once again the activities and updates of the Indoor Cloud League. iFLY SF Bay posted the first scores of the month and held the lead over iFLY Orlando until the Czech Sportsflight group took the 1st place with the latest scores and videos from the Hurricane Factory in Prague.

Florida's group came back to iFLY Orlando on Thursday last week and added 17 points to the ICL account for September, which won back the 2nd place for the month and was still not quite enough to catch up with the Czech teams and competitors, who are still six points ahead (118 - 112).

The internal leaderboard for last Thursday's Florida event at iFLY Orlando shows that the group could have added three more points for the RRR Class sequence, which Alix Raymond, Steve Hubbard, Rebecca Kristof and Jimmy Xu completed with 19 points.

Unfortunately, the video angle of the recording camera did not catch the bottom part of the formations, which were completed on the lower level of the flying chamber.

Three additional points would still not be enough to catch up with Jan Klapka's Sportsflight group. However, the missing points might become more important as soon as the other ICL groups submit their scores and videos for September.

The Florida group was still very fortunate that the most important lineup performed on a higher level of iFLY Orlando's flying chamber.

Betsy Waite, Michael Rendon, Nick Davis and Leslie Eggenberger were caught perfectly by the flat camera angle and are fully responsible for the additional 17 points.

Betsy Waite (Bold + Beautiful), Nick Davis (DeLand Falcons), Michael Rendon and Leslie Eggenberger competed together for the first time and improved the previous 10-pointer for the RRR Class sequence by six points and then turned the previous 18-pointer in the RR Class into a 29-pointer.

Equal AAA/AA opportunity for Jim Prochaska and Jairo Garcia (2nd and 3rd from left)
The complete DeLand Flashpoint lineup had their own additional challenges at last Thursday's ICL event at iFLY Orlando.

The front piece (Alix Raymond - Point, Steve Hubbard - Outside Center) also teamed up with Z-Hills TranZend's Inside Center Rebecca Kristof and new DeLand 3D member Jimmy Xu, who were both looking for some extra training. The lineup for the night outscored Flashpoint by two points (24 - 22) for the A Class sequence.

Flashpoint's rear piece (Jim Prochaska - Inside Center, Jairo Garcia - Tail) had their own challenges while their team mates were flying with the Flashpoint guest members.

James Hall, Sebastian Jimenez and Kurt Gaebel offered each of them equal opportunities for the AA and AAA sequences. The Flashpoint rear piece partners tied their scores in the AAA Class, and Jairo Garcia won the internal AA Class competition.

The new Columbian team GONO also joined the Indoor Cloud League event after attending the September meet of the Florida Skydiving League on the previous weekend. GONO did not contribute to the iFLY Orlando account this month, and they consider coming back later for the NSL Championship in November.
