... that NSL-TV features eye candy for the 8-way fans?

French 8-way lineup at the FAI World Cup 2015
posted Sep 14th, 2015 - Today's Sun Path Products NSL News update is a part of the FAI World Cup 2015 aftermath and includes eye candy for the 8-way fans.

There was just as little competition for the French 8-way team as there was for NMP-PCH Hayabusa in 4-way Open and the French Girls in 4-way Women. The World Cup was more like a better training opportunity for the winners in these three categories.

It was supposed to be a different situation, as the Golden Knights would have given the French teams more than enough competition in their events. However, it became clear a few weeks before the start of the competition that the US Army would not send their teams to Teuge, and the French teams were prepared for the sad situation.

European 8-way record in Round 2
The French Girls had at least the opportunity to look at the Open Class leaderboard to find adequate competition. The French 8-way team did not have the same opportunity and could only try to put as much pressure as possible on themselves.

It was only a warm-up event for France, no matter what. The new lineup for the Mondial 2016 had completed 17 training jumps before the World Cup, which were almost all jumps this year for some of the members. They still finished with a 21.5 average and got dangerously close to the standing 31-pointer world record in Round 1 (29) and again in Round 2 (30).

The 30-pointer in Round 2 was still a new European 8-way record for a single round, which was acknowledged by the host with a certificate. However, Eric Heinsheimer and his Golden Knights team mates of 1997 will keep the world record once again until the next 8-way Super Sequence will be drawn...
