Did You Know...

... that Laurence Herve and Remy Grandcler are reigning 4way world champions of 2012?

Correct prediction by the Sun Path Products NSL News audience
posted Mar 13th, 2014 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported the outcome of the first 2014 showdown between Aerodyne French Girls and Golden Knights at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2014 with a feature story on 3 March 2014.

The Golden Knights came into the meet with little training and held their ground quite well, winning two rounds and keeping up in four more. Then it was time for the outdoor competition a week later, where the French Girls had an even bigger advantage after a 120-jump training camp in Eloy earlier this year.

The 11-point difference between the two teams in Raeford now grew to 28 points after the 10-round competition in DeLand. The French Girls won nine of the ten rounds and allowed the Golden Knights a tie in Round 5. The 21.6 average of the French Girls is significantly higher than last year, while the Golden Knights are not back yet on the same scoring level.

Live news update in the NSL office
Both teams came back with exactly the same lineups for the 2014 season, and it has become a very challenging situation for the US Army team after the competition last weekend. As NMP-PCH Hayabusa in the 4way Open Class, the French Girls look very comfortable on the higher speed and performance level, and the very critical judging panel approved the French performance.

It will not be enough for the Golden Knights to get back to the scoring level of 2013, which can only be a starting point. Even the winning average of 21.6 will not be the last French word in 4way Women. The team told the Sun Path Products NSL News that the training will continue on a high intensity level until the World Meet in August. The French Girls are seriously aiming at a 23-average level.

NSL-TV now follows up with the competition videos of the outdoor meet in DeLand. It will not be the last showdown between both teams before the World Meet. The Golden Knights have registered for the World Challenge 2014 and will try to reduce the distance before the final stretch of preparations begins.

Gold medals for Remy Grandcler and Laurence Herve in Dubai 2012
The Aerodyne French Girls visited the Sun Path Products NSL News office on Thursday for a team update, together with coach Marin Ferre and videographer Remy Grandcler. Feedback after the competition and the training schedule between now and the World Meet were some of the topics.

It was also important for team captain Perrine Sanchez to address a few issues with previous news updates. The Sun Path Products NSL News pointed out several times that Perrine Sanchez is the only reigning 4way world champion in the female 4way category in the current lineup. She said that team videographer Remy Grandcler deserves the same credit, as he has been filming the top team in the female 4way world since 2011.

She added that her teams, the Deep Blue Defenders and Aerodyne French Girls, both also saw Laurence Herve all the time as a full team member throughout the last three years, even when she had to sit out during the Mondial Dubai 2012 after she broke her ankle a few months before the competition. Remy Grandcler and Laurence Herve both received their gold medals in Dubai on the podium, and the Sun Path Products NSL News sends apologies to France for the ignorance.
