Did You Know...

... that Jack Jefferies is now a living Hall of Fame Airspeed legend?

Under observation: Arizona Airspeed
posted Sep 14th, 2013 - Arizona Airspeed is running away from the field at the USPA Nationals 2013, and it is only a matter of how far it will be. Airspeed has moved from the observer position of other events into the middle of the action and is now under observation by others.

It's not only the direct international competition in Belgium, France, Russia and Canada who have their eyes on the scores coming from Ottawa. Teams, competitors and visitors at the USPA Nationals are also watching the new Airspeed lineup conducting their 4way business.

One of the observers was Jack Jefferies this morning. He is one of the original Airspeed members and co-founder of the whole Airspeed project. His teammate of the original lineup in the 90s, Mark Kirkby, is still flying the Tail position for Airspeed.

Jack Jefferies has become a living legend in skydiving, as he was recently inducted into USPA's Hall of Fame. The Sun Path Products NSL News asked Jack Jafferies about the personal meaning of this great honor for him.

He saw the induction not only as an honor for himself and gave credit to the whole Airspeed project and its other co-founders, participants and supporters. It was his contribution to the sport, and he is glad that it has gone such a long way.

Jack Jefferies is once again doing his whole annual skydiving at the USPA Nationals. He competes with his wife Orla in the Rocky Mountain Recreation lineup and will then traditionally join Arizona Airspeed's 8way lineup, followed by 16way and 10way. He will collect a few more USPA medals again this year...
