Did You Know...

... that Round 4 brought many surprises and awakenings?

Thunder's score sheet for Round 4
posted Aug 28th, 2012 - The scores are getting higher round by round, the slowest part of the meet is behind. The teams enjoy the higher numbers, however, more speed brings more potential for infringements, and the score sheets became more colorful in Round 3, and especially in Round 4.

The Top 6 teams in the Open Class had collected a total of four points in the first two rounds of the meet, which both had 3-block sequences. The total damage for the same six teams only in Round 4 was nine points, and Thunder alone ate six of those nine points.

Thunder's scoresheet did not look pretty, and the team was surprised by the total damage. The team members knew that there would be some trouble after watching the video. Exit formation and the following subterminal points were guaranteed to be deducted after serious video trouble. Thunder was also not sure if all vertical transitions of Block 6 would hold under judges' evaluation. However, a damage of six points...? The judges in the NSL News audience have an opportunity to go hunting for penalty situations.

Satori's Aaron Faith peacefully in good hands
Other than the Thunder damage, the trouble for the 4way world champions in the female 4way category continued in Round 4. Actually, only Amelie Tirman is defending her own 2010 title, with the help of her three new team mates and team videographer Remy Grandcler.

Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders had another good round with the 27-pointer in the Open Class. However, the Golden Knights outscored the French team once again and have not given away a round yet.

Satori is also picking up the pace on their competition vacation. The great score in Round 4 might have been supported by the power nap that Aaron Faith took in the middle of the day. The video shows that his team mates used the opportunity to help Satori's Tail to a surprise awakening when it was time to get ready for Round 4...
