Did you know that Florida teams had a busy indoor and outdoor week?
posted: Oct 17th, 2016 4-way teams and competitors in Florida have a busy week behind them. It began with the first Indoor Cloud League event in October at iFLY Orlando last Thursday. The first FSL Tunnel Kicker had to be canceled due to hurricane Matthew, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on October 10th. The second ICL event of the month at iFLY Orlando was the first challenge of the new six sequences for the 12+ flying chambers, and the five lineups combined for a total of 121 points. There was internal competition between the lineups for the best scores in the AA and A Class. DeLand Kickers members... (more)

The teams in Texas were also in the final preparations for the upcoming USPA Nationals. It was no surprise that the Indoor Cloud League took a back seat for a while in Texas, as well. However, the total of 74 ICL points for September... (more)

Did you know that Weembi challenges HayaBusa once again?
posted: Oct 13th, 2016 The first four rounds have been completed at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2016, and NMP PCH HayaBusa is under serious pressure. It is not Arizona Airspeed challenging the reigning indoor and outdoor 4-way world champions from Belgium, and it is neither the bronze medalist of the FAI Mondial 2016, France. Weembi is back and competes for France, even though Roy Janssen is a former HayaBusa member and 4-way world champion of 2014. Roy Janssen has not competed at any FAI events or national championships since the world meet in Prostejov 2014, and the FAI rules allow a competitor to represent a different... (more)

Many of the participants at indoor meets are also regulars at the ICL events, and the ICL activities are the breeding ground for future 4-way competitors. The ICL competition allows the participants to train and perform the six sequences (AAA - AA - A - RRR - RR - R) for a whole month, while the indoor competitions are usually 10-round meets using up the whole IPC dive pool. One of the most recent indoor events was the September meet of the IBA Indoor Competition Series at iFLY Houston Woodlands. The event... (more)
