Did you know that SDC Core dominates the 4-way VFS world?
posted: Oct 23rd, 2016 The 8-way lineup of the Golden Knights is not the only U.S. team in complete control of their event at this point in time. VFS team SDC Core has shown the same dominance this year, and the latest victory was completed yesterday at the USPA Nationals. This time, the U.S. teams tried to interfere with the defending VFS champion. The same four teams who took on SDC Core at last year's national championships were back on Friday to challenge the currently best indoor and outdoor team in the world. They had even less of a chance than a year ago, and the distance between 1st and 2nd (Arizona Arsenal)... (more)

Did you know that Germany lost an 8-way battle and won the Fun Flag?
posted: Oct 22nd, 2016 The aftermath of the FAI Mondial 2016 did not include an update of the Fun Flag situation after members of the South African 4-way Open Class team Savolo had their own adventure, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on September 16th. The next spot of the Fun Flag was not easy to see. It may have even required the eagle's eye perspective from a parachute to find it, while the location was still very much related to the competition. Members of the German delegation had taken possession of the flag and placed it on one wing of Skydive Chicago's DC3, which is exclusively memorabilia... (more)

Did you know that the next 2016 showdown for Arizona Airspeed begins on Monday?
posted: Oct 21st, 2016 The very last major outdoor event of the 2016 season has begun at Skydive Arizona in Eloy, the USPA Nationals 2016. 4-way VFS is the first Formation Skydiving event on the agenda of the Sun Path Products NSL News with scores on the leaderboard. The teams in 4-way Open/Advanced/Intermediate have their first rounds scheduled for Monday. It's the next serious showdown for Arizona Airspeed, six weeks after the confrontation with NMP PCH HayaBusa at the FAI Mondial 2016. Airspeed was the challenger of the reigning Belgian 4-way world champions at Skydive Chicago, while it is now time to defend the... (more)

Did you know that passionate NSL fans make life better?
posted: Oct 20th, 2016 It is very difficult for me to disconnect from the core part of formation-skydiving competition, the athletic part, with numbers on scoreboards, especially when an event like the world championships at the Mondial 2016 are just around the corner. Round 1 starts in eight days... However, I decided to drop a preview of the event when Lara and Kolla at Blue Skies told me they plan to cover an area of skydiving very close to my heart as well, with a great question for the October issue: "Who's making your jumping life better right now?" I thought that the aftermath of the Mondial 2016 would probably... (more)

Results of the internal competition and the ongoing friendly pressure were silver medals in 4-way Women and bronze medals in 4-way Open for France at the FAI Mondial 2016, plus gold medals in 4-way Women and more bronze medals in 4-way Open at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2016. In addition, Weembi won silver medals in 4-way Open for... (more)

Did you know that Canadian 4-way junior indoor gold medalist Yannick Bisson is ready for top outdoor competition?
posted: Oct 18th, 2016 The FAI Indoor World Cup 2016 included for the first time a separate competition and leaderboard in the 4-way Junior category. Junior 4-way competitors have been participating at indoor meets for many years, and the Sun Path Products NSL News has been giving them special attention from the very beginning. FAI/IPC launched their own indoor project with the first world cup in Austin 2014. 4-way teams attended in three categories (4-way Open - 4-way Women - 4-way VFS) and two junior teams from France (Aerokart Ak'demie 1 and 2) competed with four other teams in the Open Class, while two more teams...
