Did you know that iFLY SF Bay won the Indoor Cloud League October competition?
posted: Nov 5th, 2015 The final results of the Indoor Cloud LeagueOctober competition brought the wind tunnel teams closer together, as the 2015 leaderboard is showing. Jan Klapka's Sportflight team at the Hurricane Factory in Prague was not able to submit scores in all six categories. The Hurricane Factory and the Czech teams had a very busy month as the host of the 1st FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships. The Czech ICL scores for only three categories allowed five other ICL teams to reduce the distance to the leader. iFLY Orlando, currently in 2nd place for the year, won 49 points and is now only 63 points... Did you know that four of the five Intermediate Class top teams competed at league meets before Eloy?
posted: Nov 5th, 2015 The situation in the AA/Intermediate Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2015 was very similar compared to the AAA/Advanced Class. The teams in the first two places, Skydive Midwest NEXT and Ragnarok, had safely distanced themselves from the other teams early enough, and the Midwest Skydiving League team also dominated the competition with Ragnarok for the USPA gold medals. The real battle took place between the second Air Force Academy team, Allegiance, and Southern Mix of the Southern Skydiving League. Northern California Skydiving League team 4Mative, competing under Team Name at the... (more)

Did you know that teams of the Southern California Skydiving League placed high at the USPA Nationals?
posted: Nov 3rd, 2015 The final leaderboard on the SKYLEAGUE.COM event page of the AAA/Advanced Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2015 does not show the correct rankings, as the scores of the extra round is added to the total number of points after ten rounds. Only the general scores page calculates the rankings according to the meet average and has the teams in proper order. Event Horizon and Perris Dauntless Five had to break their tie after Round 10 with an extra jump-off round. Both teams then scored 10-pointers, both after one point deduction each. The new tie had to be broken by the latest rules for... (more)

Did you know that there was an elephant in the room in Eloy?
posted: Nov 2nd, 2015 The new 8-way world record of the Golden Knights at the USPA Nationals 2015, the impressive indoor and outdoor performance of the US Army's 4-way Women Class team, and the new US top team in 4-way VFS, SDC Core, deserved all the given attention. However, there was another topic that was actually the elephant in the room. The most popular event, 4-way Formation Skydiving competition, produced once again most of the drama at the USPA Nationals, including a jump-off for bronze medals in the AAA/Advanced Class and another one for bronze medals in the AA/Intermediate Class. The smallest one of USPA's... (more)

Did you know that it was a colorful 2015 season for Voodoo and the BPA?
posted: Nov 1st, 2015 Voodoo's team page shows a colorful history that goes back to the 2008 season, even though Voodoo was formed even much earlier. Colin Rothman, who is currently competing with Jazz Republic, formed the team in 1998. Vinca Cox, Johan van Aswegen and Julian Boulle were in the very first lineup. Troy Marias, Bailey Edmunds and Dennis Parker continued with Colin Rothman after the world meet in Australia 1999 until Vana Parker replaced Troy Marias in 2003. Airspeed Tail Thiago Gomes trained and competed with Colin Rothman, Vana Parker and Dave Sumter in 2004. Amy Kirtland, currently Savolo member,... (more)

posted: Oct 31st, 2015 Things have changed on the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard for October while the USPA Nationals 2015 caught most of the Sun Path Products NSL News attention. iFLY Orlando had the only scores and videos posted for quite a while. The end of the month has once again been filling up the leaderboard quickly, and there are very interesting lineups and videos to be looked at. Two of the three videos (AAA - AA) show the Dutch national 4-way team M4trix in action and bring back... (more)
