The Northern Plains Skydiving League had once again little luck with the weather. The 2016 season opener was completely weathered out, and the June meet did not get too far either. NPSL Director Al BeVier was not too happy after the second unfortunate attempt this year, when he communicated the situation at Skydive Twin City with the other two meet locations: "Second NPSL meet of the year called for weather - winds again. Steady in the twenties... (more)

posted: Jun 25th, 2016 The June meet of the Virginia Parachute Council was only a small event with four teams. Where's Chris? and Sister Wives ended up tied after their five rounds, and Where's Chris? was declared the team in 2nd place of the VPC meet, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on June 22nd. Did you know that teams in Virginia needed the USPA rulebook to break a tie last weekend?
posted: Jun 22nd, 2016 Last weekend's overall leaderboard is complete after the scores from the second 2016 competition of the Virginia Parachute Council were added. All four VPC teams competed in the same category (AA) and ended up behind Z-Hills PreciZion of the Florida Skydiving League. Suffolk Sabotage stole the highscore for Round 1 from the FSL team, who suffered two point deductions in the same round.
