Did you know that 38 teams came back to complete the UK Nationals 2016?
posted: Aug 28th, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on August 22nd that the ten rounds of the UK Nationals 2016 could not be completed on the August 20 weekend. However, the British national championships have always two weekends scheduled for the 4-way competition, and the second one has been used whenever the first weekend did not allow the completion of all scheduled rounds. This year, the teams had to come back a week later to add the missing scores. Did you know that the Hurricane Factory's Indoor Cloud League team is back in full swing?
posted: Aug 28th, 2016 The Indoor Cloud League team of the Hurricane Factory in Prague, Czech Republic, had a low total for the month of July (38) when only the Bad Boys submitted their scores for the AAA and AA sequences. Jan Klapka mentioned earlier that it will only be a short break for his other teams, especially for the 4-way junior teams and competitors. The Czech group is now back in full swing, and eight teams competed for the six spots on the 14+ August leaderboard. posted: Aug 26th, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News goes back to the busiest weekend of the year before the next competition features teams from the Midwest and the Northern Plains Skydiving League. A total of exactly 100 teams competed on the August 20 weekend, 44 teams using the same competition draw, while the 56 British teams had and still have their own sequences for all four categories at the UK Nationals 2016. Did you know that Golden Knights, France and Russia are once again the top contenders in 8-way?
posted: Aug 25th, 2016 The introduction of the teams at the upcoming Mondial 2016 continues with the 8-way competition. The number of teams at Skydive Chicago is identical with the one at the World Meet 2014 in Prostejov. Eight teams are registered for the 8-way competition. The Netherlands (M8trix) and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai Asaar) will not be represented at this year's World Championship of Formation Skydiving after competing in Prostejov, while Brazil and Qatar are sending 8-way teams to the world meet this year. Did you know that FAI Mondial 2016 judge Rogier Carper sharpened his skills at the Dutch Nationals 2016?
posted: Aug 24th, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News mentioned on August 21st that six current and one former national teams posted scores on the same August 20 leaderboard last weekend. In addition, three other Mondial 2016 teams (Satori XL and H2O in 4-way Open and NFTO in 4-way Women) competed at the UK Nationals with a separate competition draw. The Dutch Nationals 2016 had the most international AAA Class field at Skydive Teuge, where a total of 16 teams competed for the national championship titles in all four NSL categories. Did you know that iFLY Orlando took back the Indoor Cloud League August lead for the 12+ tunnels?
posted: Aug 23rd, 2016 The Indoor Cloud League update on August 21st mentioned that iFLY Orlando and iFLY SFBay would be tied for the 2016 total, after Lori Connor's Northern California group beat the Florida score by nine points last week - unless the iFLY Orlando team added a few more points to the August total. Four Florida lineups did exactly that last Thursday and took back the August lead by five points. Two of the four lineups improved the previous scores in three categories (AA - A - RR), while two highscores (RRR - R) survived the whole month after they were posted on August 4th.
